Title: Exodus; Public Alpha Patch 0.06
Post by: SentinalBlade on December 28, 2008, 04:51:01 pm
Thanks everyone for all your support <3
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version .06 Update

Im tired, and sick(sinus Infections suck)

I got fed up with my wraith problem. the sprite is not included. in fact instead of a sprite, all you will see is a shadow where this monster is supposed to be. shishi did not take kindly to this sprite, and now it will not show. Ill have that fixed by this weekend.

As of now, most of this is untested, the new battles, monster and item changes. but then again, thats why this is alpha, not beta. Major things need to be implemented and tested. Beta is for the near-finished product being proofed for bugs.

For the love of god, if something is wrong or an effect looks odd, tell me.

All things included/not included are in seperate topics.

Im off to bed. 4 hours of frustration and ISO reconstruction and backup failure has worn me out and pissed me off.

Remember. nearly everything is untested. if its not in the other topics, please post.
___________________________________________________________
Some things i wnat you to take note of are abilities that effect multiple targets, but only show an effect on one target. i need to set these a bit differently, but i cant find ALL of them quickly. id appreaciate the help guys :)

Also, i fell in love with VC's Event Skipper. it makes the game go shitloads faster. i took the liberty of releasing it in a seperate PPF, for those who dont like to go through all teh chapter 1 events while testing a new patch.

opening battle:

trying to get myself versed in the mechanics, but I'm just confused as to how Gaf can do 47 damage with 7 WP and 6 PA. It was a stomp fest, and I'm still trying to figure out was deconstruct does :3.

Gariland:

It was nice to see the opening generics with some skills under their belt already.  Still getting driven crazy by the new damage formula, though!  Otherwise, it was a pretty basic fight.  Braver is a nice touch for ramza.

Drew the battle out to ensure I got GJU for Ramza, too.  I killed Delita along the way.

I went shopping and some of that dialogue is messed up, especially with the fitting room.   The bar rumors trail off at the end of the second line.  And the soldier office text is a bit messed up, too O.o.

The Alchemist job apparently is unable to equip swords.  I don't know if this is designed or not, but once I slapped on GJU the game auto-unequipped that weapon for him.

At a glimpse the Bloodmancer class looks pretty badass, I can't wait to get enough JP to play with everything it offers.  I made my first weapons master one of those.  Also changed one of my chemists into an elementalist.

Onto letting Algus die.

I've been busy with schoolwork, so I haven't had a chance to play-test SoR much.

But, since you haven't gotten the event portion done, is it okay if I replace the TEST.EVT with a file that just skips events?

I just don't like clicking through the old events.

Mandalia:  So when I saw the amplifier thief use Magic Up four times in a row thanks to its 4 CTR, I was very happy that it wasn't, say, speed up or attack up.

Pretty easy fight, Algus one-shot a guy on his way out, and then everything else was pretty much two-shot.

Sweegy was also a breeze.  The Catalyst skills seem a bit... broken.  4 CTR speed up at what appears to be greater than 50% chance?  Its sick, especially this early one with the low sp values.

and then at dorter the ballista one-shot ramza thanks to a mythril gun.

I reset it because he then went on to one-shot my bloodmancer while the other ballista killed the revived ramza, and I just didn't have the revive power after that to deal any sort of damage.
Title:
Post by: Rakiston on January 24, 2009, 03:40:57 pm
That ballista is deadly.

I managed to win that fight because one of the elementalists targeted my Delita who then proceeded to move in between two of the enemy ballistas.  The spell one-shotted all three of them :)    The rest of the battle wasn't too hard to clean up after that.
Title:
Post by: philsov on January 25, 2009, 09:55:45 am
OK, Dorter down.  I set up ramza at the formation screen to be below in Character list so someone can PD him and he'd get an action without a counter tick.  I had him setup to Speed Up, and after 4 acts of that in the first round, things did get easier.  Both the elementalists and that gun ballista were capable of one-shotting most of my team, so after much frustration I just turtled behind the chimney and let speed up go for a round or two, then did a complete blitz of the place.

The enemy spell blade with catalyst seemed to favor Magic Up (only further ensuing the elementalist one-shots) over killing one of my guys with an easy shot.  With the lower song CTR it does seem more effective on the AI than previously, but its still a bit wonky.

One of the elementalists cast... Fire4 on my people.  It was a 3-effect spell with I think the water ball graphic and a cast time faster than your basic fire spell.  There's just a name or effect bug there.

And that guest spell blade didn't join up after the fight.  :'(

The guard katana has 3 wp?  How lame.

At Sand ra-a-a-a-a-a-a-t cellar, the knight-priests in the event swap back and forth between sprites.  Its rather funny to watch.

Anyways, a rather long battle thanks to the 100+ HP painbreakers with regen, but again I had two catalysts going speed and attack up while I made the approach.  In this time my female catalyst managed to get to 12 sp and 9 pa, and was doing 100 damage a swing at neutral compat, or 200 damage total.  It was rapage.

Still too busy gaining JP in some classes to give any sort of real feel -- Bloodmancer's ability list is huge and heavy, and I just made Ramza a spellblade so I'm trying to gain up some JP there.  I did however manage to get Auto-Potion on a chemist of mine, and she'll be training as a pain breaker once I get here a few more catalyst spells.

Post by: SentinalBlade on January 25, 2009, 06:11:30 pm
Katana's are now  "amplifiers" they boost stats for mages, to give them another option instead of attacking. they usually give some HP. But they dissallow attacking.

Thanks for this Philsov, im making many changes based on your feeback, i appreaciate your attempts :)
Title:
Post by: VincentCraven on January 30, 2009, 05:39:15 pm
I agree with philsov that the Amplifier skills execute far too often or are too accurate.

The only downside to that really is that any unit who uses amplifier skills often will be a higher level rather quickly, and may cause enemy units to be too powerful.

I got stuck at Dorter due to the Mythril Gun dude, and an inadequate party.  May be able to progress later.
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on January 30, 2009, 05:40:54 pm
I believe i meant that to be a romanda...lol, do you think that would make much of a difference?

Also, i sucked the amplifier back down to its v.01 strength, except withotu the possibility of doing 5 hits with one attack
Title:
Post by: VincentCraven on January 30, 2009, 09:12:23 pm
I just meant the +Sp/+PA/+MA skills.  Maybe I haven't learned enough of their skills to know what you mean by 5 hits in one attack.

If the units get much faster as the game progresses, you may just want to give the JP cost on the amplifier class and/or those skills more JP cost so that we don't have units with access to one of those three right from Mandalia Plains.

I don't know what you did with the weapon formula for guns, but that 8WP gun was doing 80-100 damage.  Not getting 1HKO might help, but then again once I figure out how to optimize the different skills, the battle will probably be easy.  I just don't know whether to have high faith or high brave atm.

If the Romanda Gun does less than 80 damage on average, then it would make a difference, though not much I tell you.  As far as FFT vets go, I'm pretty bad at FFT.
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on January 30, 2009, 10:45:21 pm
It is more than likely fury that increased damage like that

there was a bug that would allow the amplifier to RAPE. he has dualwield with bare hands. Tack the martial arts damage formula to the Fury bonus, your doing 128 points of damage at mandalia plains. the real problem was that amplifiers would physically attack 5 times for no reason...i still do not really know why it stopped xD
Title:
Post by: philsov on January 30, 2009, 11:19:45 pm
Thieves Fort:

Miluda caught some attack up songs and managed to one-shot two people at the same time with lightning stab.  Mind, it made her out of mana, but it also meant no crystal farming for me.  Plus the male amplifiers were dealing some hefty damage, though I did return the favor.

- Is the bloodmancers low MP and inability to equip robes while having a high-mp cost skillset a design feature?

- My level 3 bloodmancer unlocked the "        " class.  It's very much like the geomancer (sprite and equip options, from what I see) except each skill name is status.  Which rather makes sense with the "counter status" reaction, but I'll need some more jp to figure this one out.

- My elementalist got level 3.  At a glance the shaman class looks pretty weak.  It's a low-level chemist with the haste spell.  Course, haste is awesome enough to warrant likely taking the skillset, but we'll see.

Are Br changes permanent a la vanilla?  Contemplating getting the Br up catalyst or the Roar thing from spell blade.
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on January 30, 2009, 11:49:50 pm
Fixed the bloodmancer issue...

Also that is a bug, i have no idea why the old geomancer is still showing up... it requires 8 in mime.

Shaman are in general, a utility class. They remove ailments and heal hp at the same tim, depending on the lethalness of a status, i.e. poison gets removed while healing 25% max hp. In essence, they are more effect then chemists at higher levels. They can also dispell beneficial status, making them excellent for removing protect/shell/haste/reflect and so forth.

Also, i cannot remember if i fixed Despair. It has a chance to inflict one status effect our of all of them...this is a good setup for their abilities. use it on an enemy, and if you get Stop, thats excellent. If you get reflect, use -Reflect and rape 30% of their hp while getting rid of it.

It is also the only way to 100% be sure ot inflict a status, abliet random which one.

with rune grafter, both stop movement and wither add sleep.

Is there a pre-req for the two Etch abilities?

The coeffiecent for Refill is HUGE.  It's like an AoE elixir.

Similarly, the mp cost of revitalize and invigorate is a bit staggering relative to refill for how little they do.

Mana Leak appears to work on enemy-only, but the ally panels are still pseudo-targettable.

The fact that elemental rods now also absorb their respective elements is cool.

I think the Shield and Guard katanas are identical.

Oh, and Miluda's shaman is EVIL.
Title:
Post by: philsov on January 31, 2009, 02:25:53 pm
anyways, Lenalia:

Almost reset it, but my level 2 ballista managed to charm one of the female knights and turn the tide.  Icy Razors is rape from the enemy elementalists, especially from the one who caught an MBarrier from Miluda (!).  She proved to be a pain, but I caught in a kill/phoenix down loop with one of my guys while the rest did the dirty work.

Windmill:

Being level 8, the two enemy bloodmancers went first and charged up... Demi and Disable on some of my party.  Between an elemental shot and Energy Ebb from my bloodmancer, they were both down.

Weigraf of course one-shot Delita, the poor thing.  The enemy fearmonger faithed the Demi-ing monk.  I had Ramza do speed song as he made his approach, and then at round two Weigraf died.

What's the mechanics behind Bash?  I'm thinking its something akin to truth, and if so, what's the maximum number of hits possible?

Fort Algus:

Energy Ebb + Ice spell = dead algus.

SB:

Does the old Geomancer also require lv8 in itself?  That should fix the problem.

Until Mime is unlocked, the lv8 Mime requirement is not in effect.  IIRC, it will only check requirements of classes that are already unlocked to see if that class is unlocked.  For this reason, Geomancer normally has the requirements of lv2 squire and lv2 knight in the SCUS file.
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on January 31, 2009, 05:47:05 pm
Bash is just a 100% accurate move(or should be) that cancels charging~

Fixed VC, thanks for remind me about that. Interesting time on lenalia,

and i hope you made seperate save files before weigraf/algus, because i would very much like for you to try them after hte next patch on sunday.

For the PSP?

No D:

i wish; curently both Fury and Endurance cause the PSP to crash.

It is being really weird this way.

Also, i had to remove fury cause it was incompatable with Fury currently. i will fix that next version, i got zodiacs permission to modify his fury hack and borrow some of his battle.bin space to expand it.

SB, do you have a thread dedicated to errors and glitches, or are there so many that you are aware of that you just aren't really worried about those at the moment?

I noticed that Ramza starts with a sword (which he can't equip as base class) and "Monk" class still has Monk portrait right from the get-go.

World portraits arent working correctly, i informed melonhead that his new shishi tends to mess with worldface.bin imports sometimes. hes working on his new shishi and will hopefully have that bug fixed.

I never noticed that. fixed, thanks VC.

I'm going to be starting up this patch since I've slowed down on 1.3 near the end. I've been reading religously since signing up for the boards and I am very excited about your patch, it seems amazing and I can't wait to get into it, but I was too obsessed with 1.3 til now to start :)
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on March 23, 2009, 09:12:33 pm
Goblins are a bit tougher now with Counter Drain.

I am extremely excited to hear this is still getting such great feedback.

Hopefully, now that my 18th birthday is over with and things can cool down i will have a new patch out by thursday. I have tons of new effect files im trying to get perfected, and Tithin(replacing mustadio) is nearly completed.

The majority of the bugs will/have been fixed, other then teh text ones at least, those are due to Melon's patcher. Althought text descriptions for the abilities and 70% of the items(i got clothes and accessories left) are done.

Dorter is where it starts getting rough. Reseting a few times at sand rat cellar made me rethink a few strategies.

All i need right now in terms of balancings are jp costs, if you notice something is oddly hard to obtain for its worth let me know.
Title:
Post by: beawulfx on March 23, 2009, 10:02:17 pm
Yeah I thought I saw drain happening on that counter, but I wasn't sure! As for odd JP costs, only a few jobs open but I noticed BloodMancers' have Counter Tackle for 800 jp, not sure if it's really counter tackle or something else though, heh. Also Chemists have "Is ****, OK?" as there movement ability, but that's one someone probably noticed. I'll certainly post anything else I notice as I go along. A new patch with text descriptions would be amazing too to make things way easier!

Also, my first experience with event skipper, it's wonderful. Thanks to VC for that one :)

EDIT: I just got through Dorter, actually found it very easy. I just went in at level 3-4 to check the enemy out, and decided to go for it. My elementalist w/Gaurd was a beast, elemental is insanely powerful early on. Fun stuff, the stupid guests killed the last enemy before I could collect crystals though... so I might go back and do it again, heh. Blood Spill helped to render their elementalists useless as well.  Heal Shot is cool, I like the amplifiers double attacks (but why does the second punch hurt more? Maybe its not being affected by the endurance thing?), and SpellBlades have some serious power as well.

Good stuff, I'm off for the night!
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on March 24, 2009, 02:12:47 am
Lol normally the ballista paralyzes the spellblade and he goes down without any trouble...its almost like he is there just to waste enemy MP :P

BloodMancer's Counter Tackle is Counter Drain.

Guards are an excellent boon, arent they? =)

The second attack is actualy using the geomancers formula, and is not affected by Endurance.

The move find item is a bug that replaces some text in its name with an ability in your secondary skillset(i think thats teh skillset)
Title:
Post by: beawulfx on March 24, 2009, 01:20:41 pm
Yeah he really helped in that department :P

Thanks for the clarification on all those points SB, I'll be trying out Sand Rat Cellar soon enough. It's so odd trying to decide what abilities to learn when I have no idea what they do. I figured Blood Spill sounded good for instance, and was quite surprised it was MP depletion, but it actually helped me out in Dorter. So far the only new abilities I have are Blood Spill/Heal Shot and some elemental skills.

I was also wondering when the patch ends or how it ends? It's just chapter 1 right, but then what happens after Zeakden? I just wanna make sure I have a save file able to run around and train to learn some abilities and try them out after the actual story battles of the patch are over.

Thanks for the answers again SB!

EDIT: Well I made it through Sand Rat Cellar first try! Elemental was great, items were key, really I made it through because the enemy ran out of MP very quickly with Brite/Invigorate, and thus had little power to take me down. I collected some crystals. The elemental rods must cast their spell every time right, because they seemed too! Caused some damage for sure.  Quicksilver was also useful, and Thunderous Rythm is just cool, heh.

Now I have a real team developing as my Chemist got Cure 1-3, and Fire/Water so I have a PainBreaker/Elemental, an Elementalist/Pain Weld, Ballista/Item, Amplifier/Item, and BloodMancer/Control. Still having a blast too I might add.

lol, 1.3 and SoR are totally different games, as much as they are alike in terms of difficulty/randomness of having a reset, and the next a boss doesnt know that ability.

If you get frustrated with 1.3, taking a break from it to play SoR will only give you a bit of relief before the frustration starts.

Problem with SoR is that it is as difficult(if not more sometimes due to random ability learning) 1.3, but there really is little curve. it is a new system, that throws you into an initially hard game.

and im sorry if little of this makes sense. i havnt slept in 3 days. Sleep Studies are awful :/.

Nah i'm taking a break from 1.3 just to try this out haha. That actually did make sense as confusing as it is. Sleep studies? You having troubles sleeping? Oh and one more question, do you intend to make a PSP patch?

Post by: SentinalBlade on March 25, 2009, 01:35:14 am
I do intend on a PSP version. The problem with the PSP is that it wont accept ASM hacks, making all the gameplay balanced around the Endurance hack, utterly unbalanced. As soon as this issue is resolved though, i will post something.

I have been doing a bit of research in older firmwares for running the PSX Eboot on the PSP, using POPSloader. 3.71 through 5.00 m33-2 do not work. though some work better and for longer then others. Endurance still causes all of them to freeze. I have a feeling somewhere around 2.1 will be the mark we are looking for... if this works at all.

And i sleep 19 hours a day somedays, and i can sleep always...whenver i want, even if im not tired(which is rare that im not), but no matter how much i sleep, or how regular my schedule is, im always tired.

My thyroid is now out of my throat, so its no longer a suspect.

I ran into a Lune Knight at Mandalia that raped my level 4 face with Holy Explosions... yeesh. School looks daunting til the end of the semester (two more weeks!) so my gaming time will be lessened considerably unfortunately. Very happy the patch goes that far! I thought it only went to chapter 1 for some reason, that's exciting and I look forward to furthering my progress and checking out all these new abilities/battles.

I just played through chapter 1 of the patch, my highest level was only 4 (my elementalist).

Elementalists seem quite broken in SoR, my elementalist could easily do upwards of 100 damage with a Katana and the 'Earth' spell. The other classes at my level could not do as much damage as Elementalists could.
Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on March 25, 2009, 11:08:33 am
The elementalist doesnt scale as well. near the end of chapter 3 they drop in damage due to the loss of their "teirs" that the black mage had. You ahve to play with enemy elemental weaknesses, which shortly, many items will include.

sorry to here that baewulfx. I might be returning to school next week, so i can walk teh graduation isle.

Title:
Post by: SentinalBlade on March 26, 2009, 06:26:59 pm
1.3 PSP does not include ASM hacks.

only 1.3 PSX does.

SOME ASM hacks work on the psx converted to PSP, but endurance does not.

1) PSP 13027 is missing:
- ASM Phoenix Down 25% vs Undead
- ASM Defend 25% Damage Reduction
- ASM AI sees Transparent Units
- EVENT Vormav 1v1 Battle

In other words, most of the ASM hacks are not in the PSP version. Only 100% knockback and increased range bows I believe.

That's still a PSX patch.  PSP patch would be a patch for WOTL specifically, which can't be ASM hacked I thought.  Playing the PSX version on the PSP is like playing it on an emulator.  It's still the PSX game.

Really?  The way I understood it is that ASM hacks change the game code, so if it can play a FFT ROM, it theoretically could read changes made through ASM hacking.

Title:

PSP wont read the ASM hacks.

The psp emulator Dark Alex shoved in there was never really supported. it was an "Oh, cool, but ive got more important things to work on" kinda thing. he did it, updated it, and went on his business. Appearntly, his emulator is run a bit different, and certain games emulate differently then they do in the PC.

Until i find out what exactly is wrong, i dont see a psp version happening.

WOTL is even worse, cause you cant do ANY asm hacks. unless i want to spend 5 months recreating the steps razel did to make his defending innate hack.

The debugger/emulator is awful. Debugger is not meant for hacking right now, its meant for looking for fixes to play games. as of right now though, you cant even PLAY WOTL on it to even RUN the debugger..

5 years now, and its well behind nintendo's emulation curve. 1 year after the DS's release we had a nearly perfect emulator, and 2 years after its initial release we had flashcarts.

PSP is just a beast with a joystick, and its gonna be a very long while(most likely it will be released around the same time an xbox 360 is released, or even a ps3 being hacked like a psp)

haha, as cool as Dark Alex is, he is more busy than i am, and then he is working on hacking the psp firmwares. He cant handle them all.

Short update;

Texts are 90% done. i have to go in and fix a status and Draw Out/Summon, as well as about 15 monster abilities.
Tithin's Character is nearly complete. figuring out how to remove the blocks on his special spell effect.
Chapter 3 Revised and reworked.
Chapter 1 Difficulty smoothed into hard, instead of spiking directly into it.
Celdia's Character started implementation
SuperJupi's Moves rebalanced
Several Items unglitched and shop inventories revamped.

I should have an update released Sunday. I have to go visit my dying grandma, and my laptop has like 1 hour of life max and cant be on while plugged in. So ill work when and as much as i can to get this to you guys. IF its not out sunday night, look for it monday afternoon.

Im going back to school Tuesday, so im going to work my absolute hardest and fastest to get as much done as i can before i become ultra busy.

Also on the PSP note; I was messing around and made one with minimal ASM hacks. that is one without endurance, everything else included. It works, in battle at least. My brother played it and started yelling at me cause he thought i put things where i shouldntve.

Truth is, during the convertion process, something happened. Catalysts(i.e. the items with katana icons) are now in the potions catagory and cant be equipped. the Lune Knight in mandalia had 40,000 HP, and Cats CONSTANTLY did 999 damage and had 78 PA, but in the patch, it had normal growths and a lower multipler. at level 4 it should have around 6-7. not 78.

I was looking around, and i think maybe OEA has a much better emulator, if that one has one at all(i cant remember which one i was looking at) if someone has time to try out that firmware, ill send you a special update to try out for me. I dont have my pandora battery right now, so i cant revert right now if i brick(my psp normally does when updating)

That is on the PSX Game played on the psp.

You are doing a hell of a job SB. School will be over in a couple weeks for me, as soon as I belt out a couple more papers and exams. By then you should have an update released that will make the patch even more fun! I'll definitely be starting over, and I'll see how it plays again from the get go. The text updates as I said before I think will be huge (does that include ability info?) and make the game much more streamlined for newcomers, ala me.

Good luck with everything in your life, school, etc, and make that first priority, but thanks from everyone for making such headway into a drastically different playthrough of the best game ever :)

@Smitsmon; There is another firmware type out there, one called OEA(i believe) last i saw was it stopped production at 3.71, but i have no clue. It reads things differently than M33(dark alex's firmware), so it might be worth a shot.

same way as M33

youd need a pandora battery, so that you can reset yourself to 1.5 firmware and stuff and upgrade to OEA

I honestly dont know if the process is different, and google beckons my name right as my bed invites me into its warm sheets. Ill look when i get teh chance, but you might get an answer alot sooner if you look yourself, cause lord knows when ill get to it.

What did you try it with? just a converted ISO with SoR on it?

It seems for the most part all the asm hacks work, in that they dont freeze teh game, but each one seems to freak another portion out, such as the Catalyst weapons not being equippable and appearing in the potion menu.

This isnt true for attacks taht edit command routines. such as my Endurance hack, zodiac's Fury, or Razele's item % hp hack.

^ Agreed :P

It will get one, but it wont be included until exodus phase is complete.

Exodus is the mechanics, gameplay and jobs, that you will see. they needed a severe amount of testing, as you can see. and im still implementing jobs like a madman(hence why this is alpha, im still putting major content in)

Hopefully if i get some free time i can work on getting lancer/geomancer/ninja/samurai skillsets fixed up.

Symbols of Rage will have teh storyline included, but it wont be for quite awhile; after all Chapter 4 still needs doing on Exodus. Rest Assured, i completly plan to finish it all up. regardless of the amount of time it takes.

IT could be that it just runs a few checks on the more popular games to make them run without glitches. like how you can input a few fixes on EPSXE. or PSCX2.

That would be my only guess, and if thats how he set it up, it may be awfully hard getting it upright.

Not to rain on the parade Ergheiz(which i love that reference btw), but Dark_Alex left the CFW scene on the border of 4 times now, and is still out there producing things and applications to combat the evil empire that sony has become.

The most recent return happened i think mid november of 08. he thought he would be leaving, or it was at least rumored he was, and then he pops out another cfw update.

His firmware is up to 5.00 m33-6 last i saw. which was released just a bit ago.

Sorry smitson, i just left for my grandma's. i didnt even have time to make a .ppf for the new update before we left at 3am yesterday morning. would someone else mind supplying smitson with it? it would be greatly appreaciated.

I expect to be back wednsday at the earliest, i can continue making changes, but not very fast at the rate my laptop tends to die...so when i return, ill test teh changes im doing on the laptop, and then release the new update, as was supposed to be promised for today. Sorry about the delay guys.

I don't think anyone is upset, life happens and deadlines are tough to meet! Don't worry about that or stress yourself out, just do what you can when you can and we will be here ready to play when its ready.

Quote from: "SentinalBlade"Not to rain on the parade Ergheiz(which i love that reference btw), but Dark_Alex left the CFW scene on the border of 4 times now, and is still out there producing things and applications to combat the evil empire that sony has become.

The most recent return happened i think mid november of 08. he thought he would be leaving, or it was at least rumored he was, and then he pops out another cfw update.

His firmware is up to 5.00 m33-6 last i saw. which was released just a bit ago.

oh... i thought someone else did that. i have 5.00 m33-6. if that's the case, the war against sony continues! Dark Alex is winning by a long shot!

Quote from: "SentinalBlade"Edit; Smitsmon, there are other developers out there. Do you mind trying this one? http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... f%26sa%3DG (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.pspgen.com/divers/telecharger-184731.html&ei=sMnWSYjuK6PFtgfhwdHgDw&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.pspgen.com/divers/telecharger-184731.html%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG)

does this really allow you to play ps1 games without an emulator?
