Heh, it was a thing with someone before. When they continued using the old tools, we pointed out (more than once) that the older event format was making it harder for us to tell at a glance what was wrong, and that the newer tool has better error checking that would have identified what wasn't working this time.

After having made multiple events the hard way, with us otherwise encouraging this development, the guy just up and vanished rather than switch to the tool and take the brief amount of time to relearn some of the formats. (And I know it's brief. I went through the same thing.)

It was teh disappoint.

But, if you do a thing where we try to advise you to use the most current tools and you refuse for eight topics in a row, we will be very cross with you. 

Heh. I didn't. I might've had a chance if I'd had good status effects that could shut them down, like Assassinate, Stop, or Disable. But I didn't at that point in time, and without those effects, they were too much to overcome.

IIRC I was able to survive the fight, but just couldn't get any kills. They're too tanky and can heal each other too well. And they come in before you're likely to have a team fleshed out enough to handle that.

Losing to them does help serve to steer the player towards status infliction and away from vanilla FFT's "zerg damage to win" strategy, but with no option to run from random battles it's a bit too punishing to throw out that early on, even as a teachable moment.

It could be done with ASM, and I'd be surprised if some didn't already exist that could do this, as I know some have been made for that exact purpose with normal abilities.

That said, everything except having the CT work properly could be done just by burning some regular skill slots, if you so wished.

You can patch the same ISO over & over with Patcher... IF it's a good ISO to start with.

A screenshot of the Squaresoft logo doesn't tell us much. Odds are it's a bad ISO though... get a new one.

Whatever your file is that you're trying to apply your patch to isn't a recognizable ISO of the PSP version of WotL. Acquire a fresh US PSP ISO and try again with it instead.

It can help a little, or a lot, if we know what the exact error message is.

It's a "way of expression" that, at best, seems to delay you from getting the answers you're seeking.

Here's the thing... a basic forum search of "change Alicia job" came up a few results, including this topic. This topic was also the first result in a Google search.
It links to Celdia's tutorial for changing sprites in the first six words of the post.

Most of us regulars know by now that Celdia's tutorial here is outdated - which, yes, is a minor issue - but only in the sense that you can now shortcut a few steps, not that it doesn't work.

This same tutorial would have easily been located by clicking the Tutorials & Learning board from the forum's main page.

So I doubt they did a real search for this... I'd bet it's more likely they followed a link from an old-ass Youtube video or something.

And necroing ancient topics is typically frowned upon in most forums unless there's a good reason for it. We don't need people getting confused by decade old posts describing to do a thing in a different way in a topic that's apparently currently being discussed, or trying to respond to or ask questions of people that haven't been around for enough years to go through all of high school and college combined with change to spare.

It might just be the Formation sprite then. Did the in battle sprite change to red like you wanted?
