Did she loose the white for her eyes somewhere? I would recommend incorporating the color of her hair into her armor in more places so that you have enough colors for the white of her eyes.

The white in the eyes was originally part of her armor, I could change some of the colors with the armor. At the moment its using nine of the colors for just that and a couple are almost the same. Five for the metal armor, four for the cloth parts, so right there is probably two I could free up at the least.

Forgot to put the credits for the original sprites I used in the main post, so they're edited in now.

Well, can't get the eye color back to being white without making a part of the sprite look dull. I did however fix one of the colors, it was actually part of the hair instead of the armor.

Color List:
Default Black
One color used for darkest parts of the sprite(Eyebrows, between parts of the armor, and between the armor and hair)
Five colors for the metal armor
Three colors for the cloth armor
Six colors for the hair and face

.SPR is reattached at the bottom of this post:

suggestion for getting the white back.

i see that you have a color darker than the shadow color on the outfit. if you get rid of that and replace it with the darkest brown hair shade then you have freed up a color. that brown shade is near the same as that darkest purple color, but you could alter the palettes of the hair to blend closer into that after making it slightly darker. you should never go darker than the shadow color if you dont have to..

a second thing you could do is replace the darkest skin color with the second darkest hair color or the other way around and alter that color slightly to blend with better with both.

anyway this picture shows if i got rid of the darkest skin tone and replaced it with the second darkest hair color that orangeish. also the belt looked a little off how does this look?

yeah the white in the eyes makes it a lot better

it's easy to see something was missing from the first one when you put them side by side like that

Sorry it took so long, laziness kicked in; anyways, after following the advice Zozma gave me here is what I came up with:

Thanks a lot Saeru, coupled with Smash Generic Soldiers, it makes a new class type, very nice. However, what could it replace ? Knights, Squire ?

Yep, its been a fully working sprite since about 10 minutes after I started on it, except for the color change anyways(adding multiple palettes). I suck at making my own sprites/portraits, but I can combine different ones and recolor them pretty easily. (Helped that the two I combined were really good.)

well, combining and recoloring creates new sprites. and the more you do it the easier it is.

Mmm, the colors on the robe is a bit dark ; and the visage makes him look like a zombie.

I was looking for a more Surreal look, peharps no pupils in the eyes, and a very blank/pale skin, that would also be used for the arms and perhaps feets. Could you give it a try ?

The hair fits, though.

I lightened his skin a lot and gave him Ramza's purple. Hovewer I won't recolor hands and feets to the same color as skin, cause it would mix with symbols on his hands/legs and would look like shit. Tell what you think ;)

How much color did you use up yet ? I would like the incarnate to have freaky eyes (white if possible, whiter than his face, or glowing blue) The purple fits ok with his robe, it's that that will change trought the palettes changes.

I thought it would look a little ripoff, but it seems nice. Perhaps we should wait for comments of others though.

So, the eyes need a change. Supernatural-looking for the win, he is made of magic, after all!
