I think they could really be more interesting than boring break skills, besides im considering using their skill slots for something else.

any suggestions? they need at least 4 decent skills

cetainly not. Im thinking they should have some damage amping abiliteies or perhaps something to allow some spread damage as well

im planning on using effect files such as:
"Knife Hand" from the skeleton
"Bite" from the bomb
"Stab Up" from the behemuth
"Shake off" from the Minotaur

I can think of 1 skill, deal 2-3x AP but damage 1%HP on self

ohh, you know what, a custom formula making all of these skills damage some of the knights hp might be the way to go about it...

ohh, and since knights are played off as the type that defend other characters perhaps a skill similar to wish

Lol, I meant stealing some ideas from other patches, not givin Knights steal abilities. Most patches never get finished, so stealing ideas from those isn't all that bad.

i agree with how most dont get finished, i just want to make them a little flashier and besides, breaks? are they really all that great without damage anyway?

Ok, here are few ideas, (btw, not mine, I stole them from other patch, the creator is no longer here, but still I hope he won't mind...)
New Skillset: Swordtech

Dispatch, JP 100
Attacks a single enemy.
Formula: Dmg_PA(WP)
Range: 3 Area: 0 CT: 2

Slash, JP 200
Reduces enemy HP by 25%
Formula: Dmg_(25/100)% Hit_(MA+65)%
Range: 2 Area: 0 CT: 3

Straight Slam, JP: 250
Attacks in a straight line
Formula: Dmg_PA(WP+3)
Range: 6, Area: Linear, CT: 4

Empowerer, JP: 350
Drains MP of target
Formula: AbsMP_PA*WP
Range: 2, Area: 0, CT: 5

Stunner, JP: 400
Attacks all Enemies in Area, Add: Stop
Formula: Dmg_PA(WP+4) 25% Stop
Range: 0, Area: 2, CT: 6

Quadra Slice, JP: 450
Randomly attacks enemies 4 times, stronger than Quadra Slam
Formula: Dmg_((MA+16)/2*MA) #Hit_(3+1)
Range: 0, Area: 1, CT: 7

Cleave, JP: 500
An attack that kills all nearby enemies
Formula: Hit_(PA+50) Add: Dead
Range: 0, Area: 2, CT: 8

ahhh going by the FF6 "Swordtech" that Cyan had eh? can't say im opposed to the idea at all, i might give some of these a try

Those new skills look cool, but they look like they would be overpowered...maybe not

being generic knights of course the skills can be blocked as well as evaded. however it is still undecided exactly what skills they will have to replace the breaks

You could get rid of some of the breaks, or none, or all. What would prabably be worth it is changing support/reaction/move   abilities
