WOTL Script in the PSX ISO?

Given that there is now a decent editor for the text in the game, I was wondering how similar the WOTL data files are to the original PSX version. The PSP version's updated script is great, at the cost of the technical issues that plague it.(Sound problems, animation slowdowns, etc)

So would it be possible to import/edit the script in the PSX version to use the PSP version's script text?

Even lacking the updated cinematics of the PSP version, I think this would be a good update for the original.

Thoughts?
