Well, we got one sprite down! Lenneth has taken her place in spoiler bracket. If all goes well, we will have Cleric too(I hope Mav will do the palettes on HK).

Ok, so we have first image. I bet the arm will look way different in my attempt, getting such thing done is very hard. Hair and legs are very doable, I actyally want to use Agrias's redone sprite as base, change the hair, palette and try to differ it from base more, sounds good enough?

I added some images to the jobs, Zod said it is okay to take those from main, so that is what I did. Suggestions are welcome. Oh, I didn't knew how you want some characters to look (for example Undead), so you may think they are out of place.

Same critiques I always make about these sprites. All of Lijj's ports need to be redone by mav or someone competent and a lot of the palettes for sprites that come from IA are pretty ugly to look at. The cleric sprites have a lot of problems. The hoods in particular appear to be shaded on all sides and a little too minimally. The female Cleric should be made from scratch in my opinion. It's pretty boring.

the only sprites I feel fit are those rogues and maybe guardian

everything else needs to be original content

(btw undead are supposed to be undead humans, not skeletons and not vampires)

So all except these three are out? Shit this makes my work surely harder, haha. I could paste other hood over Cleric, but since Arch says they don't fit, I see no reason for doing it. So what do you think would work for undeads? I thought of something like Lich from Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis.

I don't think guardian fits so well.
I thought We could just use Kage's Valkyrie, after all, it's a Valkyrie. He just needs to complete it.
Zozma had some sniper female sprite we could use for marksmen.
I like scholar for historian.
Alchemist? lol? this shitty palette swap? the original palette was better.

I think I will ditch adding the braid on to Lenneth, it is not fitting very well(size I mean), I had many problems doing the damage taking frame with braid, I still didn't found solution. So I will just ditch the braid, no one said it has to be exact like the original lol. So Valkyrie is done, I just need to erase the braid on those few frames. Jimmy's scholar fits very well to me too. Melodia is a nice sprite, and will probably fit for marksmen yeah, but her breasts are gigantic, hehe.

I also PM'd Mav to help me with HK palette, since there are many problems with the current. I also fixed the sprite overall, since there were some bugs.

Haven't we decided on Warrior already, my Guardian was s'posed to be him? :o But if you don't want Guardian, it's fine. This Warrior consists of:
-chest that is very similiar to Delita(these buttons and all)
-legs look surprisingly similiar to Delita'a as well(bottom part armor, upper is chain mail(Delita has leather, not chainmail but who cares))
-arms looks like biggest pain to me, IMO Ramza CH2 would fit, spikes and shit
-hair is all our imagination

I did a cocnept for Chocobo Knight, it is not based on any of those images though. I kinda feel there could be something more to this than I have currently. I tried many armors, Zozma's, Cavalier's, Vick's, they all looked shitty with bright shades of yellow, and helm is as big of a pain as armor, tried DK from WOTL, but it was soo fucked up that I rejected the idea. So I have this for now.

Arch, I tried Chocobo helm on my current sheet, it looked like shit, for two reasons:
1-way bigger than armor the helm was
2-getting proper colors is impossible now, I lack 2 shades of yellow, and changing colors now would cause disaster on sheet.
So instead I added eye to Gaffy's helm. I thought about using AD's Dark Knight helm, it looks different from Pike, and wouldn't resemble him anymore(it doesn't now btw)

I tried copying Lancer helm, but it has soo many shades that my yellows aren't enough. I ended up using Lancer's eyes though(well only one). I tried some custom shit on helmet. This is the first, and last time I am doing a sprite in armor using yellow colors, every armor changed to yellow looks like shit, same for helmets.

I wondered with Arch about changes to monsters you will do, Zodiac. I dunno if you will want to use it, but here, I have done the Werewolf. It's paletted and all too. I did some fixing over the whole sheet, but I think there could be more issues, so if you find it, tell me. And if you do want to use it, then I won't submit it.

Ps. portrait is shit, I know. I want to ask Mav or Twinees to fix it. I just found this port as one of our users avatar

BTW: if you check out our items section, we got weapons that have strengths vs monsters

so carrying them to do better in random battles vs strong monsters (like this one) would be cool

that mustadio head / hair is TOO similar to mustadio, the engineer is supposed to be a new character (even if it is generic)

Hey Kage would it be too much trouble to edit these 3? So far the only graphics that require spell editing are these three, and they should be very simple edits (just color adjustments).

Glasses itself looks nice, but when I tried using them as eyes, it failed. As Asmo once said, messig with eyes in FFT is VERY bad idea, they are very specific already.

Can't you use the same haircut as the previous one without the pony? These all look pretty gay IMO.
Also, too much gray, white shirt looked great. I don't know about your amount of colors right now though.

I liked the messy hair better, but Zodiac is the one who has to like it, it's his patch, and he will be doing 90% of the hard work, so listen to him 1st

Well O never said she looks more of a swrodsman thatn warrior. I recall us talking about light armored character(for Riskbreaker job or something), so I decided to do one with leather and one piece of armor. You think this fits for anything? I have been trying various colors too, and it may prove difficult, but I will think of something else if you think blue does not fit(blue is default palette in vanilla(look at Wizards))

IMO she's cute and very basic... would fit cadet well

(the warrior sprite has a bit more metal on it, so it contrasts well)

Some update on her. first set of arms, and walking frames itself are done. Same for singing. She is coming very nicely, If I get mobilized enoug, I will finish her during this 4-day weekend.

Uh, I don't really feel like doing this, I fear I might screw this up(wich is likely to happen). I used Smash's Monica as base, she worked pretty good I guess. Zod thinks the hair is too sharp, so I will upload new version soon.

Ok, here is fixed BMP with everything as it is supposed to be. Btw, after testing in-game, I realized that the part of hair I just fixed wil be covered by HP/MP part, and I doubt Cadet will have some grand role in storyline, oh well.

is it possible to have someone look at the face? there is seriously something up with the face and eyes

something is very off... I don't think Smash's "Monica" is a very good base, she just looks like a church-boy right now

ask Asmo and Zodiac about this port and see what they think

Here is Werewolf with all the palettes and portrait. I thought about giving it to NT too, but I won't submit it yet. TBH, this sprite would be used only here and in KoI, since every other patches are dead.

Here is renewed version of Cadet's portrait. I made her forehead hair different, and made face more girly. Hopefuly this will work. I still am waiting for answer about the Werewolf, Et doesn't have BMP yet. Colors go tscrewed again, don't mind it, Paint is screwing with me.

Feel free to fix hair in front ears, but either way I'm happy with the result.

And there are many more ports like that in FFT. It really doesn't look out of ordinary, look at Fem mediator, kinda sad too.
