the damage of firecracker seems a bit low, what was Ramza's MA in the dorter 1 vid? Firecracker should be using the monster magic formula that ignores faith, but would otherwise be identical to a tier 1 black magic spell, i.e. MA * 14.

if you feel its too high, then feel free to lower the accuracy to 50+MA and/or up the mp cost to 16mp for firecracker and 32 mp for stardust, 64mp for the third tier, and 99mp for Galaxy Crash. The idea behind these skills is that the chance of the spell failing should be such that the average damage remains similar to the black magic spells of thier level.

Im thinking on it, it right now it seems fine, its scaling just fine for me, im at sand rat cellar and its doing 35 on average.
Stardust would do about 85...i think its fine in terms of related power to the other skills, considering it is unevadable, which later on is almost a must.
right now my Elementalist outdamages ramza, but thats cause she has 7 MA with a Guard~

I still think the scaling is fine. if you watch sand rat cellar, there is almost no way i couldve been able to hit some of the guys if it was evadable...
One of the bloodmncers had my ballista all the way down to 37% chance to hit...rofl
I think i did give in and make Galaxy crush evadable with MA+x%...it is rather powerful...
All in all, so far it is really helpful and unique early on. if it needs to be rebalanced later, it will mostly tack on the evadable flag.

Sand rat cellar took a half hour! Fighting those guys at level 13 was a real challenge. I was amazed at how well the AI can pick equipment. The lead blood mancer had a fire staff and mage gear, so when he stuck for 23 damage it would auto cast fire 2 for 53 damage, 1 shotting most of my characters. Algus actually fought 1 Painbreaker the entire time on the left side of the house and would use a potion every time he got injured while his opponent regen'd all of the damage he did.
Some other highlights included some jerk managing to cast golem, my blood mancer/fledgling stealing some people's weapons, amplifier Ramza raising his brave to 80 and then punching a guy twice for 40 damage, and finally victory when the enemy pain breakers ran out of MP and died to the poison that was inflicted from the other guy's poison rod when he got charmed.

I had Algus equipped with the iron sword from Dorter and a red hood, that leather jerkin and some battle boots. My Blood Mancer went to where Algus was fighting the Painbreaker and stole his weapon, so the fight basically involved Algus getting punched, dodging armor beaks and attacking then using a potion on himself. He really could have stayed there forever even if the guy's weapon hadn't been taken. I had plenty of potions.
Oh, and if anyone was wondering, my team consited of Amplifier Ramza, A Painbreaker with throw item, a shaman, and the blood mancer. I forgot to give Mr. Medallion item so he just ran around throwing rocks and getting stomped.

I havnt been able to work on it in months. mostly because zodiac archived my section, or hid it, by accident(at least thats how i was informed). At which point i just figured...time for break? and havnt had a chance to pick it up.
