Error: File is not a recognized War of the Lions ISO image

I tried to make a new patch for my WotL. Unfortunately, the error above showed up when I tried to do: PSP --> Patch War of the Lions ISO on the FFTPatcher. Please advice, thanks!

Did you alter the ISO in any way beforehand?

Also, make sure it's the US version.

Hmm, the only alteration I could remember was changing it from a .cso to a .iso by renaming its filename. Will that have any implications on the FFTPatcher? Anyway, I am currently downloading a new WotL .iso via torrent. I will test later if this new .iso will be patchable.

you cant do it that easily you have to decompress it into an iso not just change the file name?!?!?!
