Should I showcase some alternate palettes?

Alrighty, I'll hop to it when I get back home later today. They all have to be blond, if I understand correctly, so the hoods and cloth will all have to look different from one another.

EDIT:

Shit, edits don't mark topics as new...So here's a bump. Hopefully I ain't breaking any rules...

How do the portraits and palettes look? Note that palette 2 and 4 have different skin colors than each other and all the rest, and that each sprite has a different hood color and robe color, of course.

Yes, these are looking great!! Well done mav, well done ^^
One thing, shouldn't her left side of her neck of the transition with her hood and cloth be a little bit darker, since least expose to the light, with that hood blocking? ^^
Anyway, they are great ^^

Yeah, I should darken that up a bit, thanks jimmy. Once the sprite is finalized, I'll start working on the portrait in GraphicsGale, so I can put on some finishing touches without editing every portrait manually.

Oh and how many palettes will this sprite have? I made five for the portraits, but supposedly up to 8 can work...

Yea, so 3 more palettes ^^
Looks like GraphicGale is much better than GIMP.

Yeah, just take note of any redundancies in the palette and modify accordingly. After the sprite is ready, I can get the portraits up in no time.

So.... I did the palette judging from a normal squire palette. How does that sound ?

Well, I added and modified the portraits to match their respective sprites (i.e. brown clothes, blue, red, green, purple) and added them to the BMP. I didn't test these out in game and I'm not sure how the sprite palettes look either, my only suggestion is to borrow the blues from the male Ninja or something...But the sprite is done. Test away, my good friends! I've attached the BMP and the SPR, so do yo' thang. And if all is fine and dandy, submit it on up, Kokojo.

EDIT: I've fixed the palettes so that they borrow from existing in-game colors. Kokojo, if you're alright with this, I'll attach it. But since it's your sprite, I'll wait for your permission or denial before doing so.

Mav, By all mean, go on. And this isin't ''My sprite''. Sure I worked on it a lot, but it is Auradragon's one, and he wanted it to be top quality! Post it !

I've found several head problems...

It might just be my imagination but the dress in the back view walking animations seem a little screwy.
