This is an Item Simulator. For the time being it can only calculate an aproximate Gil price. It's easy to use and user friendly. I post it incomplete in order for you to help me finish it.

Hey there....

I've been looking for a day to find a way to create a new character in FFT....And when i say new i mean to add if possible a sprite set. Also i tried to replace a already existant sprite with a new one (an unused event character like Celia) but when i add that char into my party he looks like Ramza....I looked this thread http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=7089.msg144130#msg144130 that looks like my case but it seems i do something wrong....

Ok i started by extracting unit.bin and wldface.bin from my vanilla FFT but i cant find a way to add a sprite set, only to replace it. Also i noticed that in FFTEVGRP the amount of sprites are less than portraits...so i switched to ShiShi Sprite editor (following the instructions of the thread above) and changed Celia's sprite into Sephiroth but when i enter at party screen he looks like Ramza.

Please assist me.

Job requirements are missing. Go in FFTactext, open your iso then go in Text option there is a QuickEdit option. Every thing is in there even though you still have to change everything else.

Try and download FFTastic. Its a savegame editor. File-> open-> Fine your memcard-> Then see in the top left of the window there is a character selection list-> Pick your character and in the middle of the window there is an active and guest options-> flag them and hope this do the work OR you will have to restart the game, i think?

And try not to use gameshark

Hmm which sprites you want?

The very best solution is to download the clean iso of fftactics and leave it as a backup somewhere in your pc if anything happens that cant be undone.

In the sprite section in the top right corner of the "sprite window" there is a bmp and spr links.

Do this: download FFTPatcher open your iso then there is a tab called ENTD, figure out which is your next story battle by looking at the bottom of the list. Then look at the units involved in the battle pick one general unit then flag from the options in the right side:Immortal (so even if the unit dies in battle it will not be crystalised) and join after battle. Now go to the options in the left side and choose your desired sprite (NOTE: if you pick someone that it isn't meant to be in your team in formation screen he will be seen as Ramza) and in the bottom the correct skillset (depends with the job) and items.

If you mean clean of changes no, i changed a few things a few days ago....hehe and the problem is it takes forever to download with my connection...
will the problem be solved if i make a clean patch with FFTPatcher with new resources.zip?

Hmmm when the world map is loaded i press to see the options of "Deep Dungeon" and the game freezes. I feel like stupid asking all this questions but im no FFhacker (yet at least). What do i have to do?

Also when i check the equipment the names are strange and the names of the abilities even stranger

Umm the patch i think is not working properly...
I load the save, and i am in a location called deep dungeon and when i load that location it just gives me a list of many non functional commands and some missions... what do i do to do that team test?
Oh and when i load one of the missions the terrain textures are just gone

Ok, done, worked thanks. I think we should someone to make a guide for that kind of stuff for complete noobs, like me.

Hmmm i did what you said and for some reason its not working...Maybe the patch is incorrect...? I dont know. Also it might be that i use the 1.6 version of epsxe

I have the arena138d.ppf i have the Memorycard Generator, the save with my team and i cant make it work!

Here is what i did:

As Xifanie's excel document describes I made two teams saved them as .mcr put it in my epsxe memory card folder as epsxe001.mcr and as the ePSXe Help Guide on how to apply .ppf patches i renamed arena138d.ppf to SCUS_942.21.ppf, then put it at the /patches sub folder. I run the game and the game says that the save is corrupted. What do i do wrong and what should i do to fix it?

How can i test my team for the next tournament?
