From the others perspective

If my avatar is any indication Delita is my favorite character in the game.  I've been wanting for a long time to make a patch from his perspective and finally it's in the works.I'd love any help on this project if some one can and here's a list of what I have completed so far;

Storyboard-100% (willing to share and take critique from members who want to help, otherwise I'd like to keep it under wraps)

Script- 50% (Working on it as I;m posting this and intend to be done in the next few days)

Sprites 70% (If I get the permission to use some others custom sprites this should be done very soon)

Events-5%-20%( This, like most other patches is where I'll need the most help, but I'm trying and am going to focus on it as soon as I'm done with the script)

ENTD-50% (other half will be worked on in conjunction with the events so I don't ruin it all)

Jobs/skillsets-95% (last minute tweaks)

Text-90% (error checking)

ASm hacks 70% (Not sure exactly which to use but we're getting close)

And that's it, if any one wants to be a part I'd love any help that I can get.

Black Knight,
Great to see that you have done so much with your patch and are now asking for some help. To get some people on board with your patch, you do have to show some tidbits of what you have done. This will incentivise people to see that this isn't a flash in the pan or lolpatch and that you will stay the course.
This site is riddled with patches that people have wanted help for and the person to never finished. Just look at the Archive section and parts of the new patch section.
I don't want to demotivate you but having been here for quite a time, I have seen projects come and go, I have seen people come and go and be mindful of that, when requesting for help.
All in all, I wish you all of the best and I hope that this is a patch that the community will enjoy.

Argy thank you, I think that's a fair point. So I'll post the story board for just Chapter 2.  If you like the flow of the game as it is here

Chapter 2
The chapter starts with Delita going to the church and showing an interest as a devout member to rebuild the church. He gets their blessing and joins under Baron Grimms of the Nanten. After a couple of successful battles against the Ryomoku Delita is promoted to second in command. Shortly after the company is routed by the leaders of Ryomoku at Zeltennia and Delita escapes back to Murond. There Delita is promoted to a Holy knight and he joins Minister Gelwans group at Dorter to kidnap the princess. The next battle is at Zierkle Falls, where Ramza's team consists of Agrias, Rad, Alicia, Lavian, and Gaffgarion.  After the scenes (EVT_128 through 138)  Delita goes to Fort Bessalat to meet with his contact from the church and he tells him to go to Lionel and await orders from the Cardinal.  There Delita is tasked with helping to take care of the Princess, Delita agrees and also requests leave to attend to something in Warjailis. While on the way there Delita runs into a thick of monsters Barius Valley.  After the cut scene( EVT_172) Delita returns to Lionel and reports to the Cardinal who tells Delita to escort Ovelia to Goltanna. At Zeirchele Delita and Ovelia battle against the Hokuten and she warms up to Delita.  Delita and Ovelia run into the leaders of the Ryomuko group at Finath river and a battle in sues and after we see at  Limberry there is a cut scene where Vormav gives Elmdor the Gemini zodiac stone. And then the chapter ends starting at EVT_200

Well, I don't know how to break the bad news... but here goes:

King of Ivalice has been my project ever since 2008.
Due to a lack of motivation I had given up on it and it was up for anyone to keep working on it; it was mostly ASMs though.

I've restarted working on it a month ago because Elric offered his help (I'm already helping him with Journey of the Five and we are good friends), so I can pretty much guarantee that it will happen now. I've already completed most of the ASM hacks for it. There will be some really nice new features, and I'm known for my amazing ideas; just look at my published hacks.

I really don't know what else to tell you. I'm interested to see what you've done, but honestly, Elric and I are the best ones on FFH to tackle events, and we're teaming up for this. It's a HUGE problem if you are lacking those, which seems to make your whole project fall really short, despite all your other ideas about the other aspects of the game.

As far as the story goes, I haven't figured out everything yet; in fact mostly the ch1-2 timeskip section.

I won't be working on it for 3 more weeks because I'll be focusing on finishing The Lion War after my vacation with my fiancee is over.

Since I can't find anything in the forums about King of Ivalice I have to assume that it is the same idea as what I'm working with.  Honestly that is bad news for me and i appreciate your honesty Xifanie. If I have to edit all the events myself that's just what I'm going to have to do and it may take a long time.  I have no problem sharing any story/ideas with you if you're interested since I have no doubt that your patch will be amazing and I look forward to playing it when it comes out.

Well, I kinda restarted the project nearly from scratch, since I learned a lot of the past 6 years and it was simply too much rework. Therefore, all the information on my hidden forum is not relevant anymore... I've actually done quite a bit of work in just a few weeks.

But yeah sorry, no information for a few weeks.
