So after debating with myself, I decided to scrap my SCC Bard team after just one match (a loss).  Even though the team got a victory in one round even though it lost the match I decided to scrap it.

I decided to eliminate the team because the amount of work to "correct" it would be too pro-longed.  In order to fix the team I would have had to change too much of what I was trying to do.  I've never completely scrapped a team after one match, especially since "Shakesperean Theatre Companee" one a round: most of my teams never do that well in the initial match.

Sometimes I'll do revisions on a team until it's unrecognizable from it's initial form.  It depends on how determined I am to make a theme work.  Like how my "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" team   morphed into my "Shadow Of The Colossus" team.  Or how my original "speed savers" team eventually morphed into my competently strong "Windchill Factor".

For example, my "Tanqz" team has now lost two matches without winning a single round but I'm not even close to scrapping them.  But Tanqz is my first defensive team, and I really want them to work.

In total I think I've only scrapped two teams, and the bard team is one of them. 

This isn't my team.  It belongs to Rouroni Elmdor.  I'm just posting it here because it had some formatting issues and he isn't able to correct them easily.  Also Rouroni, there were some things I couldn't fix and those are IN RED TEXT.  I understood what you meant by "heal all status" but it's best to list them individually just to be as clear as possible.  Also I'm not able to confirm if you're under the jp cap or not.


Regarding your monk, he's not able to wear the twist headband.  He'll have to have Chakra Band, Choice Band, or Focus Band.  Most people go with Chakra Band.

Re: your ninja's weapons, he can only have one of the following: Throwing Knife, Main Gauche, Katar, Orichalcum or Air Knife as those are not dual wielded. 

Or you can have two of the Dual Cutters, Platina Dagger, Mage Masher, or Repel Knife.  You can also have these in any combination like  1x Mage Masher and 1x Repel Knife.

On this day FFHACKTICS had the most users ever online.  However the reason for this seems elusive.  I initially went to the Arena area to see if there was some sort of tournament but there wasn't.  So I looked elsewhere and nothing seems to stand out.  Does anyone know what mysterious even took place on March 7 2012 to cause so many users to be online here at Hacktics?

He's built a team full of distractions and one Unit Slow Dances the night away.  Eventually he'll overwhelm his opponents.

Barren.  I think he'll go to the loser's bracket after I defeat him and then he'll prove to be a nearly unstoppable juggernaut just like last time.  Then he'll face Dokurider and lose in a great match.

Are these considered different abilities because they're on different jobs?

For example can I have 2 units with "Fly" from the Bard Job class and then 2 other units with "Fly" from the Dancer Job class?  I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I'd just ask.

Hi all.  I've been watching the videos and there are a couple of things that completely confound me re: the A.I.  It's often incredibly unpredictable from what I can tell.

As many people have pointed out, the comp will sometimes spam Quickening and sometimes not.  Certain job classes seem more prone to using quickening than others.  Thieves seem to be the most efficient in this regard.  But I've seen times when there was not discernable reason for not using quickening.  It wasn't even to save AT. 

Sometimes the A.I. will heal and then retreat and other times it will retreat and then heal.  For people who wish to take advantage of "Flee" this can be incredibly frustrating.

Most mindboggling is the most recent video Barren posted for Four Fangs vs Short Circuit.  My tanks fell back and my squishy spellcasters charged forwards.  When the Geomancers fell back I thought "oh cool my Priests will do the same".  But that's not what happened.  The Priests actually charged forward and were rewarded with a Cyclops to the face for their trouble.

Can someone enlighten me on the intricacies of A.I. behavior?  I know it's my responsibility to know the A.I. but the A.I. just seems unpredictable in so many cases.  There has to be some sort of pattern.

Hey I've been around for a little over a month now.  I've been a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics ever since the game came out.  I've been watching FFHACKTICS videos for over a year and it never occurred to me to visit the forums.  Loving the arena contests btw.
