patching help please

i have a fft cso file

i decompress it to iso then it became a winzip file

and then i extract it and now it is a umd data

witch one im i suppose to patch

ISO's for WOTL are easy to find.

Hi, I can't patch my PSP version also (probably I did it wrong) I was just trying to test how it works.
Here's what I did:

- I dumped my FFT:WotL to an ISO
- I used UMDGen to extract the fftpack.bin
- I used the FFTPatcher to extract the fftpack.bin to FFTBIN Folder
- I overwrote the CLOUD.SPR with the AC Cloud
- I used the FFPatcher to rebuild the fftpack.bin
- I used the UMDGen to insert the new fftpack.bin

But when I try to play my ISO the game freezes after the first cuc-scene or if I try to skip it.

So any help... Pretty please.

You can't change the Cloud sprite for some odd reason.

It will do that every time if you change the Cloud sprite.

Yes as long as the new sprite is the same size or smaller unless your using the new shishi.

Um, may I ask a question? I've got a couple of dummy characters in my party. I had intended to replace the both of them with the AC Cloud and Aeris, but I'm not exactly sure how to find them. Their names are, incidentally, Cloud and Aeris. Would you know how to find them?
