Already sounds way better than 1.2. Yeah, sounds; I haven't played any of them.

Damn, I wish I had a clone, I could do way more things.

Lydyn, he can change the jump skillset's menu to a normal one.

Whoever, no way you can get charges and normal type of skills in the same skillset douche. Those skills aren't just plain normal, as Math Skills are.

Edit: Oh, that's right the new shishi will have all the grouped body parts that are used in animation. You'll just have to load the sprite file and select the SHP type. That way you'll easily notice any graphical glitch.

Well, the hair color came out pretty bad, You can use the shape of my head and probably the shape of the hair but do it the way you want. My hair is chestnut, not black like it shows. So in the end, do it in any way you like as long as my hair is a bit curly and dark chestnut.

If you wanna know something with the ENTD, all the unknowns are listed down there.  If there is no difference with a normal unit, then that's not it.

I'm trying to copy how the engine works to allow a lot of customization and also avoid undesired effects (like having innate Move+3 and having it equipped).

So basically Move/Jump are fully calculated, so are the speed/PA/MA bonuses and all the evade %.

Next thing to come is the listing of innates, Levels, HP/MP/SP/PA/MA calculation with item bonuses.

This will be paired with map screenshots to know the location of units.

The main use will be the walkthrough.

You see, if you create a FFT Hack, I can simply upload the files and everyone will be able to see the contents of it.

I'll have to bring some minor modifications to make it WotL compatible though.

This is basically what I've been working on for a lot of time. I'm currently coding PHP in it.

I just added the function to choose the ENTD and unit plus I decided to add the ENDT names before posting.

Still got ways to go ahahaha!

PS: Move/Jump show currently only the job's base.

If you'd want to make it the nearest "innate" possible you'd have to cut down all abilities cost to 2/3 and job level requirements to 2/3 too.

1/2 is excessive. ;o

Then just remove Gained JP Up from all skillsets.

Other way is to give Gained JP Up to everyone and sacrifice one of Reis' innates; Mime doesn't matter though.

I will try to create a tutorial section ASAP for the new beta site which will be hosted here... I'll probably add a big link or something when it will be ready.

I encourage picture tutorials but only with GIF or PNG. If needed I'll optimize the pictures for bandwidth reasons but I don't want to loose quality. We're not picturing movie scenes here or your backwards so I will refuse any JPEG or low quality pictures.

I will also post information on the tutorials formatting when the time comes.

But I never said I was to write the tutorials, I only said there was going to be a section for that.

Nah, the game determines the battle before your deploy your units, so can't be.

Maybe it wasn't done on a high scale enough.

Still, harder battles seems to be determined by the party level, since Voldemort on his WotG challenge got nasty battles pretty early on. More testing should be done for that.

Things you should never do:
- Using more than 16 colors
- Using a custom color OUT of the first 16 colors.

In bmp format, the image is in 8bit... whoever it's compressed to 4bit by FFTPatcher. That's exactly why it messes up, you'll have to fix your sprite so it only uses the 16 first colors.

If you want such a patch, tons of work and discussion has been made on this forum. You could easily create a balanced with all the work done.

FFT is FFT, we all klnow that, however most of us want to go one step higher.

You say chocobos are fine as killing machines and not being used as mounts? fine with me, but I don't agree.

Personally I work on all this for myself, then for the others; not the opposite.

I would make a balanced patch but I have my own patching project and lots of other work to do. :S
