Thank you Jumza, I tried to keep it as close as I could only the original without breaking it with ALMA.

Elric, I play FFT on my Android phone and not on the computer. I would love to record some material. Any ideas for phones?

New Project Ideas / FFX-2 FFT

Hello All,

I have been working on a FFX-2 patch (one of my favourite FF games!) for quite a while and now I need it testing, so if anyone is up for it that would be great. I have played the game a few times but my style of play is different, so some feedback on abilities, monsters, anything and everything would be great. There are all of the classes that you would expect to find from the game (Gunner, Thief etc) with most of their abilities from the game, you can have a look at the Excel document that I have also attached.
There are still quite a few things to do, change to text wise (ward/proof, job description's and a few other things that I might have overlooked)
There are still plenty of things that I want to do, like the archer, ninja, geomancer and lancer, but they will be in a subsequent upgrade. Playing with the growths of some Gaf and Izulde, sorting out some of the mantles powers, the list goes on...


Most aspects of the game have been changed, I lost my tactext file a while ago, so I hope that everything is fine.

Good Morning,

I would like some ENTD clarification. I am sorting out the random battles for my patch. Dolbodar East 1, for example, does not appear as a place to go in Chapter 1. So, if I was to change the ENTD for it, does this impact in my game at all? Is it just a 'dud' level and has no consequence at all. I am unsure at the moment.

Hello All,

I was wondering if someone could make Equip Change only allow for armour, clothes and robes to be changed. I know that Choto has created one for weapons, so would it be easy to create one just for armour/clothes/robes?
The reasoning behind it is I a member near the end of my FFTX-2 patch and equip change would essentially become garment change.

Jumza, good  luck with your project. The premise looks great and the fact the you have the knowledge to change the World Map and the ability to Event Edit, holds you in good steam. I look forward to this project evolving

Choto, forgive my ignorance, but I don't know what to place in the Offset part of Generator or the hex that needs to go in. Having a look at ASM hacks that come bundled with the patcher, ther eis always a specific location from 1 to 20 or so lines of hex. With that I can see, what I need to change. But with this, I have no idea!!

Arrow Guard now blocks gunshots.

0x126128 change 0xF5 to 0xF6

Hello,
I was wandering if anyone could help me? I am looking for all of the different formulas that the game has and what abilities use them. Once upon a time it used to be on the wiki and now it has disappeared. Have I missed it and now it's somewhere else? Or is it still there and I am afflicted with darkness!!

Great to see that you have done so much with your patch and are now asking for some help. To get some people on board with your patch, you do have to show some tidbits of what you have done. This will incentivise people to see that this isn't a flash in the pan or lolpatch and that you will stay the course.
This site is riddled with patches that people have wanted help for and the person to never finished. Just look at the Archive section and parts of the new patch section.
I don't want to demotivate you but having been here for quite a time, I have seen projects come and go, I have seen people come and go and be mindful of that, when requesting for help.
All in all, I wish you all of the best and I hope that this is a patch that the community will enjoy.

Hi All,

I have an ASM request and I am not sure how easy it will be to do. Is there are a way that we can change MP switch to be an MP equivalent of regenerator? (the white mage support ability) Or to maybe use the blank space available 01BB? Or even use Absorb Used MP?
