I'm on it.

other concerns:
-Should Old-timer Blancsh still need a tall hat?
-Sir LD, can you give me a better (orig) picture for this:

to mav,
can you try red colors on marin?
then, it'll be a primary truimvate of colors,

Zefane close to blue,
Blansch with yellow,
and Marin with red.

Certainly, I'll grab the initial, Evtchr and upload it.

As you can see there is  Lot of empty space for this specific and we know how to access the seperate blocks, so if you wish to add more to any of the characters (Gafgarion, Zefane, Blethin, or Marin) there will be no cause for concern, and yes, the hat in the portrait will do well on the sprite.

Thanks.

I guess mav didn't make a hat in his portraits.
I have finished viii's sprite concept.

Oh crap, the hat! I probably can't make one outta scratch...Gimme some time, maybe I can work it out.

EDIT: Was a beat up Rad necessary? If so, take a gander:

Ouch, poor boy... hehe, nitty and gritty just as FFT's injured portraits were, I like it! It's 16 colors, right?

Yes sir. Thankfully Rad's original portrait already had three perfect shades of red on it, so it was no problem keeping it within the limits. Does he look busted up enough? I didn't really do much. :P

Not bad! In case it helps, I used the Old Funeral Man as Blethin's sprite base. Also, the primary color scheme is freaking wicked. Lemme recolor Marin in red and I'll re-post it.

Yep, everything looks good! The Triumvirate now have their own sprites! (Even if it is onlyone or two animations...)

I'm not a big fan of Blethin's sprite design. He is just too puffy looking. Plus his hair should be pulled back.

Hopefully I can work more on them.

Who'd you use as a base for Blethin? I think working with the 60 year-old man and his variations can produce a decent sprite. Though he will be sitting down, so...

I'd use this guy--if you can give it some kinda color trim (similar to the Oracle) I think it'd look nice. Your call though, Mr. Spriter.

If Blethin won't be used in battles, I might use that. :)
I'll transform him into an oracle that we hardly know. hahaha.

I have almost finished the frames.
It has 64 colors currently (16x4).
Reduce it to 16 colors if it's not allowed.

-played with the arms a bit.

Ah! I'm loving Zefane. He looks like a nice little scholar. I guess I gotta finish up the portraits I did, eh? Though I dunno how to make Blethin's hat...but I'll do the color reductions for him and Marin as soon as I get the word.
