I didn't know this thread EXISTED

Anyway, here's the games I'm currently playing:
- Ridge Racer Type 4
- Pokemon Heartgold
- GTA SA

as you can see, all those games require so much time to complete. Get the 320 cars (R4), defeat Red after you've grinded so much (Heartgold), and a hundred fifty missions for CJ (San Andreas).

Hello Victrebel
Now everyone sit down, relax and have a good damned cup of tea.
Then go out into the forest and see the stars.

Then come back and realize it's pointless to be so worked up over what's meant to be our hobby.

So close to beating Valkyria Chronicles 1,2 as well as the after years. Such a shame I bricked my PSP.

And a year later I'm probably still at the same spot in both games :D.

Neophyte Ronin

I've been delving into Neverwinter Nights and also Zelda Classic (the rebuilt LoZ), including custom quests.

TrueLight

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

I'm about 50 hours into the game and currently on the final dungeon.

Avalanche

I was playing Goldeneye on my n64 last days.

Finishing playing Pokemon White 2.
I will never stop loving Pokemon :D

Wow.

So I bought a 3DS the other day and the first thing I did, after downloading the Bravely Default demo, was purchase Crimson Shroud. I'm interested because Yasumi Matsuno is a designer on the game. It is kind of a throw back in that it is like a pen and paper RPG made into a videogame, with all characters being static figurines and dice rolls playing prominently. I'm only a few hours in, but so far I'm loving the tone, characters, and gameplay. The narrative is a bit odd, as it is kind of emulating a game master telling the story, but then it switches between that, character speech, character thoughts, and gameplay descriptions. I will update when I get further along.

It has been a real long time since I posted here, but I will do a summary of what I can remember since I play pretty few video games. For RPGs, I have been in the final dungeon of Tales of Graces f for like two literal years, I played through Tales of Xillia really quickly and almost beat it a second time. The fan translation of Tales of Innocence for DS was great as well. Oh and Last Story on Wii a while ago. Last Story was quite enjoyable, the pacing was great and it had some excellent systems. After Crimson Shroud I'm going to decide between Ni No Kuni, Kingdom of Amalur, and Xenoblade Chronicles. In my old age I get overwhelmed by giant really long RPGs, so even though I have all three I'm intimidated to start any of them. Once I start an RPG I need to just play through otherwise I never come back to it. Thus I am very interested in Child of Light and feel that I might end up getting that instead of playing the other 3 I already have.

For multiplayer. With a bud online I played Borderlands 2, Dead Island, and Diablo III. Borderlands 2 got the most gameplay hours by far. For whatever reason we are having a difficult time getting into Dead Island and Diablo.

The other game that I actually finished was Ghost Trick for DS. Such an amazing wacky original game. Probably one of my all time favorites for it's story, characters, and gameplay. I really couldn't recommend it enough. It will hook you in the first 15 minutes, and if it doesn't then it might not be the game for you.

Borderlands is great for multiplayer (Actually replaying through the first one again right now with my bro and then onto the second again),
however we had the same issue with Dead Island, it sounds great on paper. I mean, L4D + Borderlands? Can't go wrong right?? Idk... I
stopped playing it after about an hour and never went back.

Diablo III... Well, it isn't Diablo II, however I hear the expansion made it much better, though I can't really confirm that.

Celdia

Last Dream is a throwback to JRPGs of days gone by. Done in the style of older Final Fantasy games - with plenty of references to that self-same series - Last Dream is like a brand-new trip down memory lane. You start by building your party from a selection of eight different classes, each with their own special abilities, and then dive right into the fray. While the story isn't anything genre-shattering, it retains that classic fantasy feel without the focus on being too-serious seen in a lot of modern RPGs. It knows when to take itself seriously and when to have fun. Anyone familiar with JRPGs from the 8-bit/16-bit era will feel right at home playing this. Also, the game world is huge. The number of things to see and do will keep you busy for a good 40+ hours; non-plot extras include things like a massive crafting system, fishing, casino games, treasure maps that lead to hidden wealth and even the Guild where you can sign up to go hunt down extra strong monsters scattered across the world. If that isn't enough, character advancement is fully customized through the use of points you assign to character stats to build them how you like. However, you might want to grab the 700-page PDF guide to find out what each of those stats does before you get into trying to min-max your character builds. On top of that there are two different options for playing the game a 2nd time through with both New Game+ and another game mode called Reborn. So if all that isn't enough to get you to take a look at this one, there is a free demo available that kept me busy for hours before I decided to just up and buy the full game. Not sure what else I can say about this one. Go check it out.

Angel

Nearing the end of Suikoden II (which I have owned for years and never finished because I always got distracted by something else for multiple months somewhere in the story and forget what's going on and start over, rinse and repeat), which I plan to follow with Suikoden III (which I have owned for years and never finished because holy crap this is boring), and Suikoden IV (because Ted), and Suikoden V (because it's apparently a really good game).

Also playing through Grandia II again for xifi, who's never seen it. And also because, while I know I beat it, I totally do not remember the ending.

Also playing through FFVII: Reunion just to see all the changes that were made.

... And playing through FFVIII on Steam, because it was a good price, and it's of better quality than the PC version I already had that I finally uninstalled.

Oh, and Lightning Returns. Which I actually haven't touched in a couple weeks, but insist on finishing, because I've honestly enjoyed it so far.

Yes, it is hard for me to play just one thing.

The Borderlands series is definitely great. The DLC expansions do a lot for extending the playability as well. I'm not super excited about the Pre-Sequal yet, I don't trust a new studio taking over.

I also forgot to mention that I played through Uncharted 2 & 3. Truly amazing games that deserve all the praise they receive. Stunning in every way. They are kind of just a must play for anyone and the playtime for them is about 10-12 hrs a piece so not a huge investment. I also got obsessed with getting all the collectables in both games, for no real reason whatsoever.

I finished Crimson Shroud. The first play through had a nice difficulty curve and I ultimately enjoyed it as a nice short game. The story got really confusing right at the end by introducing a whole bunch of new revelations without much closure. There is a second playthrough for additional content and story, but the enemies get scaled up so much that battles just take forever so I didn't get far at all. It is also similar to Vagrant Story in that I feel it focuses too much on compatibility/weaknesses/buffs/elements so that it is difficult to predict damage output. Probably worth a play through for any hardcore Matsuno fans.

I suppose my next RPG is going to be Bravely Default. I am only a couple hours in, but such a beautiful game. It has a really intriguing world, which is one of my favorite qualities in a game. The battle system is seeming interesting so far. The most interesting thing is how they have added options to streamline the experience, like fast-forward for battles and changing encounter rates. Just really smart modern additions that any turn based RPG should have now adays.

The game I am actually going to finish next is Shovel Knight. I am a backer of the project and am loving every minute of the game thus far. Lots of fun ideas, interesting platforming, awesome retro graphics, and an excellent difficulty curve. I'm playing on 3DS.

I'm playing MMORPG Ragnarok online and sometime playing Suikoden 3 :-D
Let's be together !!

I have heard of Ragnarok online, but haven't tried it yet. Though I was playing through Suikoden 5 again for like the 10th time not long ago.

Currently playing through Earthbound Uncut on the SNES. The project aimed to make the story/dialogue/names/some small graphics more like they
were in the japanese version (Mother 2). So far it's pretty neat and a great way to get myself back into a game I played as a kid.

Also currently playing Secret of Evermore with the 2-Player Patch and Seiken Densetsu 3 with my wife. I never really understood why SoE wouldn't have
been 2 player in the first place, but the patch defiantly increases the fun factor. Not much to say about SD3 as it's awesomeness speaks for itself.

Lastly, off and on I've been playing both LoZ: Goddess of Time and Parallel Worlds Remodel. Both of these are mods of Link to the Past and are very
well done, if you are a LoZ fan, defiantly worth checking them out.

Next I suppose I will play thru Earthbound Zero again, then maybe the Secret of Mana while I said for Hyrule Warriors to come out.

Haha, I'm all about the nostalgia. Though it's more that the SNES era was the best for RPGs in my opinion. I'm also a fan of streets of rage,
as well as golden axe and still have some of them for my genesis.

Legend of Mana is one of my favorite PSX games. I've played through it more times than I would like to admit. Seiken Densetsu 1-4 is my 2nd
favorite series of games after the Suikoden series and at a very close 3rd is Final Fantasy

Me too. I bought Bravely when it first came out. But, I'm about 30 hours in and haven't played it for awhile. After I finish my new game plus unknown run of Xillia & P3P I'm definitely going back to BD.
