When I learned about Hyrule Warriors, my reaction was, "oh, fuck you, Koei! Now I have to buy a Wii U! Assholes!" Just when I was resolved to give up the hobby entirely. For you see, I said I was done with video games when 2D Castlevania was no longer a thing. That event has indeed come to pass, and with all of my other favorite franchises deteriorating to the point that it's hard to muster any interest in them - not to mention I successfully skipped over a mainstream Zelda title with no regrets whatsoever - I thought I was truly done with the money-wasting timesink. But no, Koei has to go and make something awesome that's platform-exclusive, and I know I'm gonna have to fork the money over. Jerks.
