Conficker--April Fool's Joke or 100% False?

Yeah I just heard from a friend about this and I highly doubt it being real but...take precautions? Does anybody know if it's false?

Good ol Conficker the honest answer is the only one who knows is the creator.

My bet is the joke that it does not do anything.

in situations like this, its always best to take whatever precautions are available, considering the possible risk, if it does turn out to be a joke, then you have lost nothing except for a small ammount of time

Conficker? You mean the worm? If it doesn't exist, then something like it exists. It took forever and a day to get it off my roomates compy since it disables access to not only any kind of antispyware/malware/virus website, it disable the use of many popular antispyware/malware/virus programs on your computer. It was a giant pizain in my bootie.

Yes and that was either Conficker 1 or 2. The one everyone and their mums are talking about is Conficker 3.

Woot, even microsoft put out a 1/4 mill bounty for the person who made this one.

i believe that computers are already infected all the creator has to do is activate them, my foriend has been telling me a lot of stuff
