My roomie grew up in Japan, and plays Japanese music almost exclusively. Some of my favorites (of what I can find on YouTube, anyway):

9mm Parabellum Bullet - The World
abingdon boys school - Sweetest Coma Again (Luna Sea cover)
Buck-Tick - Ao no Sekai
capsule - Music Controller
Gackt - Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped
m-flo - So Exclusive
Shiina Ringo - Keikoku
Tokyo Jihen - Shuraba (Shiina Ringo on vocals)

Quote from: "FFMaster"If Sonic survived in the SEGA vs NINTENDO war, then we would also see Sonic Kart, Sonic Sports etc. and others would complain about how Sonic is in every game genre possible.
Sonic Kart? How about Sonic Drift, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic R, Sonic Riders and its sequel, Zero Gravity? And let's not forget Sonic Shuffle, the Mario Party wannabe. And does Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games count as a sports title, or negate the point since it also features Mario? If not, there are still plenty of other whored out titles to pick from, like Mean Bean Machine, Spinball, Tails' Sky Patrol, Sonic: The Fighters, and so on and so on. If anything, Sonic is MORE whored out than Mario.

Rhapsody was an old PSX RPG, and you'll find one of its characters as a hidden boss in Disgaea. Fun little game.

As for Disgaea, it was on PSP (and obviously PS2) before it was on DS. The DS version makes up for the audio and visual shortcomings with additional features unique to the port. My main gripe with the DS version is the inability to diagonal throw, but it's still a solid game, and I won't trash it just because the PSP has a more aesthetically pleasing version.

... That said, I do prefer to play the PSP version, yes.

Edit:
As for suggestions, I'm a long-time Castlevania whore, so I feel obligated to toss Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia in.

By that I mean, someone with too much time on their hands took that picture and Photoshopped it to appear as though the shirt, shorts, and lunchbox are floating in mid-air above a pair of shoes.

You left out Disgaea, you fiend. :(
Also, Rhapsody. Both are better than Hoshigami, imo.

Many years back, I had a picture of that kid made invisible. I'm not quite bored enough to see if I still have it, though.

Nah. I used to have a set of Swap Magic discs before my ex made off with my PS2. There's one disc used for booting PS2 CDs, and another disc used for booting PS2 DVDs. Neither of the two will boot PSX games, and since you need a different disc for both formats on PS2, I would hazard a guess that it would be impossible to use a theoretical disc that loads PSX games to load a DVD.

You mean Swap Magic? That will only boot PS2 games.

Quote from: "Vanya"I wonder if a modded PS2 would be able to run it if it's on a DVD?
You'd need a modded PS2 that can actually play burned PSX games, which I have yet to encounter. That or I've become acquainted with people who make terrible choices in mod chips.

If you're telling it NOT to remember you, then it's behaving correctly.

It basically means that you can't burn the image for use on a PlayStation. You can, however, make a fine eboot for PSP.

Quote from: "Hydrallx"You know how there was a super mario RPG? well what if they made a Sonic the hedgehog version of final fantasy tactics?
I think they called it Sonic Chronicles.

Seriously, though, if I become bored enough to follow up on my Kirby joke, I'll continue it with a few Sonic characters. The Disgaea cast takes priority, however.

It's nothing you've done actively, so much as just being female. This sort of thing tends to happen on the internets.

Cloud was low level, and not right in the head. Totally unsuited to be in SOLDIER.
