I will be trying my best to fix at least the equipement bug ASAP. Thanks for playing and thanks for the comments, it's really appreciated.

Also that's weird, move find-items are there, for each map, at least until chapter 3. Guess you got very very unlucky.

Im trying to find out the cause of those bugs. I would perhaps blame your emulator since I am able to play withouth a hitch on psxfin, however I can't be sure.

Il try to weed out the problems after those next 2-3 days since I am celebrating the new year.

Here are the dark knights, too.

If I recall correctly, there never was any portraits for the male dark knight. A shame!

Thank you Guru, Il investigate most of these bugs as soon as possible. I appreciate your efforts a lot and your bug reports too.
As for the 2 events where you lose everything, this is news to me, I have no single idea of why this might be happening... and it's very penalising.

Golems had normal swords unticked. Shit.

This patch has no support for PSP, sadly, and will probably work but crash before 5-6 battles, and some skills will be wonky.

TBH it's rarely been tried, you could give it a spin but I am certain it will crash, since PSP apparently can't load modified maps.

Otherwise, The game ends abrutly after asking you to save once chapter 3 is complete with a little textbox telling you so.

These are very very old and maybe forgotten. I had re-uploaded some, but again, not all.

Hoped those could jog some memories and make you realise how much arena is better. :wark:

Releashed Chapter 3 to the public, along with an upgraded version of Chapter 1 and 2. Many skills have changed, and a tons of bugs have been fixed.

Hello! It's been a while!

First off, I wanna thank the amazing support I've gotten over the years, even if it was spread out. I hope that those who patiently waited will be able to enjoy Chapter 3 of Call Of Power! Plus, the technical support and tools I've gotten here are the ONLY reason I was able to get so far.

Remember this patch is made for fun at it's core, and I hope everyone appreciates it.

A new savefile is necessary, or you'll run into massive bugs and disapointement!
There was a kind-of massive renewal of the skills of most classes, and more are coming to make this a better experience.

1: This is your holy grail if you want to event edit. (If you want extra teleporting around, you can also Erase() a sprite, WarpUnit, then draw + teleport the unit at the same time)

3: Unique poses are available thanks to EVTCHR, a special files containing all the special animations. For custom caracthers, you have to make all the poses. They can pose a LOT of challenge due to their nature.

4: Are you sure you're using a CONFIG.INI that matches your version of the compiler ? Is there an EarthquakeEnd somewhere in your script?

5: Cameras are also a bitch to event over. There is a command to ''fuse'' cameras and make it easier to see what you want to see. It's really mostly just something you learn over time. FFT programmers also had different tools, it's possible their camera fusion always caused no problem, so they used multiple.

6: You could make a unit silently join the party and then immediately dismiss it during a cutscene. Or you could simply make the unit, via FFTpatcher ENTD's option, drop a ''treasure'' (Bottom right). You can give only 1 per unit, but the reward can be changed each time.

Well. After many other unexpected problems, I will not deliver in time. I passed 7 hours on the stuff and could't get past chapter 2 and I still have 2 important major features to fix.


I hope I am not deceiving too much. I had high hopes too and yet I realise I must take more time to fix some important issues that should have been fixed years ago.

My new goal is just in time for Xmas

I don't know much what to say about those comments. They do bring joy to me! However, I will still need to think about it.

Otherwise, Il have to delay until the 18th, very late at night. Had some very unexpected problems, but I will deliver.

I would like to thank you a lot for these comment, DeJ, it warms my heart.

Im currently working trying to get Chapter 3 ready for tomorrow., I am still not sure il be able to make a complete test playtrought tonight when I have done the final changes. At the worst, it will instead be releashed the 17th or 18th.

Im still adamant about not doing chapter 4, but il give myself a week to think it over, and then either releash the ending in paper form, or do chapter 4 (unlikely).

Well as far as I am aware, the latest updated version is still the same as the one I use, aka, all jobs are available as soon as the game starts.

However, if you've read the progress log, I should be giving you chapter 3 before the 16th of december, and If you could just wait that long you'll have one more chapter to play trought ;-).

Thanks for playing it, it really makes me happy.

After deliberation I've decided to releash chapter 3 in early december with no change to the gameplay mechanics, AKA, no new battle system.

I will also not finish chapter 4, since it seems too much of a task for me after such a long time.

I am pleased by the results of what I have accomplished so far, and I thanks all that have supported me over the years. You'll see an end for CoP, not the first one I had in mind, but still, a end for this mod will be done.
