So, I have already extracted the fftpack.bin and replaced the sprites I want.

But how do I put it back into the iso?

I rebuilt or repacked it so it is fftpack.bin. How do I put it into the iso? UMDGen didn't work. I deleted the original fftpack.bin and replaced it with mine. Then I have to save, I saved it as an .iso. I loaded it on my psp and it crashed. The file size on the new one was way different than the original .iso.

How do I put these sprites in?

A link or advice would be helpful.

Thanks

Oh and if I need to give more info just ask....

This is how I do it.
1. Rip a fresh ISO from my UMD and uncheck read only from its propeties.
2. Use UMDgen 4.00 to extract the fftpack.bin
3. Use FFTpatcher to extract the fftpack.
4. Replace what I need to(Sprites must be the exact size of the original sprites)
5.Rebuild pack with fftpatcher
6.Replace your new fftpack over the old one with UMDgen.

I save it as an ISO. Works everytime.

Alright, I will try that in a few hours. (I can't right now.) I will tell you if it works

EDIT: It worked, thanks I didn't know the sprites needed to be the same size.

One time when I was adding the repackaged .bin file back into the iso, I got impatient and added before it FFTPatcher had completed the repack.  This caused similar issues you mentioned (FFT crashed and the file size was off).  One way I make sure FFTPatcher is finished now is hit the minimize button on it.  If it doesn't minimize it is still working on repackaging.

Also, when using UMDGen the only thing I actually "delete" is the updates folder (shrinks the iso by about 40 MB and is unneeded).  I just add the .bin file over top of the existing one and click yes when UMDGen asks if I want to replace the file.
