The Hobbit: general impressions thread

I've been waiting for this one for years.



So far, the music and visual departments are what you would expect. Insane.


I'll be there in a few hours, will come back to this
Now everyone sit down, relax and have a good damned cup of tea.
Then go out into the forest and see the stars.

Then come back and realize it's pointless to be so worked up over what's meant to be our hobby.
That should be my motto here, holy s

I agree with what you said about the audio and visuals, but other than that, it's going to be one hell of a journey for the hobbit. This is a prequel, right? Let's enjoy the beard-fest. (Jot5 Ramza says hi!)

Cinema machine burned and died, no movie played today.

It's a small town, only one cinema, only one hall. Perfect..

Saw it.

It was meh. Waaaaay too long. Should've been 1 movie, and a shorter movie.
