Hey, can someone explain to me exactly what this is? Is this basically a patch picking up where the story left off? I just watched a few of the videos and I'm interested to find out.

In a mistake I made between save files, Ch1 guest Delita never leaves. How can I eject him from the party in Ch2?

I'm not necesarily making a new patch (I'm basically modifiying 1.3 with my own persnal preferences for my own entertainment), but that certainly doesn't mean I'm not going to use it.

Possible solution:
What you could actually do is just assign his primary skill as the calculator's. Just go to the jobs tab on patcher, find the job, and change his skillset to the calculator's.

Metriod Prime (played the original for GC and loved it)

Xenosaga III is one of the if not the best game in existence.  :mrgreen:

Thanks for the first one- I genuinely could not find that.

As for my second question, what I'm asking is how to fix the fact that special moves (eg if I had a move whose animation was the summon demon) only display damage when the animation is in the Seal Evil, Leg Shot, or Arm Shot slot.

Hmm... could you edit some swordskills? Specifically:
-Night Sword without the 'eye' (or better yet straight to the sword part)
-Blue-paletted crush punch
-Slightly faster version of hellcry punch


On second thought, could you try making some completely new swordskills? I would love to add some variety beyond the current ones.

Which number is for the animation for when the ultima demons enter (eg the white teleport)?

And also can someone explain to me why damage only appears when used on the snipe move slots when using animation skills? Actually, more of how can I fix it w/out using those slots is my question.

Neat patch. I started playing it a little while ago. I noticed several things right away:

1. Rad the Red Mage has the most glitched sprite I have ever seen. The basis of the sprite (the fighter) works fine, but the cape attached to him is very glitchy. The same holds true for the Onion knights- when they use Wave Fist or a physical striking move, they split into vertical ribbons of their form. Sorry about the lack of screenshots.
2. It's a pet peeve of mine to see Mercinary skills as opposed to Mercinary Skills. Please capitalize the second letters in skill sets.

Aside from those two, everything looks good.

Huh... Mando, I can see your most recent bmp just fine. Wierd. Anyways, those colors seem too dark for FFT. Compared to her base sprite, this palette is shaded much more deeply. I personally like her original colors the best (brighter greens + gold armor), the primary change to it being the red hair.

Mando, can you use the base green for the cloak + a lighter silver color for the armor? I'd like to see how that works. The shading as it is is unusual, as Kagebunji says.

For one, you absolutely have to change the sprites before you patch. If you notice, after you patch, the size of the iso increases, especially if you modify ENTDs. ShiShi can only read a normal-sized tactics.

1. Yep. And no it's not; just open the .ppf patched iso with patcher and save the patch. Get a fresh iso, sprite change, and then open and apply the patch. It works well enough.

2. Yeah... but you shouldn't have a problem w/ the CD, only the iso.

Can't help with 3 (sorry).

Yeah, I did mean the portrait. Sorry if I was unclear about that.

I think the biggest problem for me is at the upper left of her head (where you could trace your finger from the grey to the peach without touching reds; I apologize again if I'm unclear). You should lower the hairline there slightly, but only there; leave the right side of her hairline and the rest of her hair as-is.

 :mrgreen: Very neat sprite, Tojoe. Love the base green and golds with the Altima reds. I do agree with Pierce that her forehead looks slightly off, however. My biggest problem is the shading created from her hair on her face. Something about it looks weird. Also, not a fan of the yellow version.

EDIT: Two more things:
1. Looking forward to the Rafa sprite!
2. You should post just the portrait (enlarged) so we can see it better.
