Quote from: Hans_The_Manimal on December 10, 2022, 02:09:07 pmI had this same issue with Duckstation and was able to fix by going into the controller settings and changing to a digital controller. What's funny is this same issue can occur with older PSX games on physical hardware when Analog is turned on while using a Dualshock controller.
Anyways, hope that helps and I love playing this mod so much appreciation to the team for adding the WOTL translation.
Quote from: Lucavi00 on December 06, 2022, 08:00:06 pmUnsure if this is common but when I patch my FFT to the newest DL of the Lion War, I cannot use my controller.
I am using Duckstation with a PS5 controller connected to my PC vis USB.
Before I patch FFT, controller works fine but afterwards, no dice.
Any ideas?
Quote from: lafegob on December 06, 2022, 02:13:41 pmMAN !!! i just finished the game, and it's is incredible !!!!! it's a master piece what you guys did there.
Quote from: Jumza on December 01, 2022, 09:07:44 amI believe it is TLW2 instead of SCUS at the beginning of the name!
Quote from: Nyzer on November 15, 2022, 06:20:49 pmCome on, Elric, tell us how you really feel about this translation.
Quote from: TTGL23 on November 14, 2022, 08:27:08 pmIs it possible to add in "The War of the Lions" to the text to be more in keeping with the PSP terminology?
Quote from: MerlinRST on November 12, 2022, 11:18:10 amExcellent job! It helped me to get new characters - and by the way, to put Altima (First form) as an ally, using some random Unit to not get so weird in the team formation (crazy).
It may seem strange to make Altima an ally, but I really wanted a character with that teleport style, not to mention that her sprite is very well made and worth being used for good (even if it's your own benefit). Obviously I will adjust it so that it doesn't completely break the game, like changing Teleport 2 to Teleport 1, and base status.
I'm not creating a complete MOD because I still haven't learned to use the event editing tools and others, so I'm modifying small things just for my own use, until I learn to create a mod worthy of being shown here. But it will take a long time because I don't understand about it. Anyway, congratulations on the brilliant idea. And thank you!
Quote from: CieloGT on November 08, 2022, 10:17:53 amHi! Been lurking this website precisely for this mod for my vita, but haven't had the chance to go about and work on it since med school is such a bitch. Do forgive me if this may come off as stupid but I assume you did some added steps to add WotL movies to your iso file. You mentioned that you basically gave up doing your own patch so I initially assumed you just applied the patch then called it a day. How did you go on to add the movies and did playing this with retroarch prove to be smooth and seamless?
Quote from: Ramza108 on November 04, 2022, 06:56:11 amLol. Look man, I love the hack and appreciate the hard work that went into it but that's not very helpful jsyk. If the game had answered my question, I wouldn't have asked here.
This is assuming that I haven't already done this several times. It may be supposed to work and show up somewhere ordinarily but that's what I'm trying to ask you.
I have already stated that the ability purchases didn't show up at all anywhere that I've looked. They still aren't there.
I've beaten it several times now, actually. Besides how can I expect to know the answer when you are unable or unwilling to answer it as the creator?
Quote from: RetroTypes on October 31, 2022, 09:08:27 pmPSX is the simplest to use, not the best looking but it's also the most compatible with mods (especially older ones). You can get it from the tools page or google.pSX 1.13, or PSXfin. No one is gon a find it via PSX. lol
Also, if you've done anything like trying to combine mods/hacks without knowing exactly what you're doing, that would likely cause issues as well, so hopefully you haven't done that and are just playing vanilla or a mod directly from the forums.
Quote from: Ramza108 on October 31, 2022, 12:05:15 am... Well? Do you guys know? Can somebody throw me a bone here? lol. Am I missing something?
Quote from: MerlinRST on October 30, 2022, 12:42:54 amMy world map is completely dark, I only see the objective points to walk between them. Earlier today everything was ok. I copied a friend's video configuration and the map still doesn't appear for me, and his map appears normally. I've been playing on version 2.0.2 for years but this time I can't solve it.
I downloaded versions 1.7, 2.05 and even 1.8 and in all of them the world map is not normal. I already deleted the ePSXe records from windows and reconfigured the emulators, and it had no effect... I don't know what else to do to get it back to normal, please help me.
Quote from: Gregory on October 29, 2022, 08:35:50 pmGotta hop over to Duckstation. Wasn't even aware of it. Thanks! I tried again on a different emu and it crashed again. To Nyzer's point I've added in the WotL movies (which only worked on the intro anyway) so that could also be causing the issue.
Quote from: Amici on October 30, 2022, 09:04:23 amHow far along or how "final" is this patch already? I used to work on a personal patch where I edited Ramza to have a new job class, plus new custom sprites for some characters, while everything else is retained. But it happened with an earlier release and thus my work is already "outdated". I would rather try to do it again with finished version of TLW.
Are there still a lot of bugs/things to fix/stuff to add in the latest version? Or is it safe to say that the latest version is already far along enough that I don't need to worry about reupdating my patch on an even newer version of TLW.
Quote from: Zolias on October 29, 2022, 07:53:57 amIs there likely any way to be able to make enough roster slots to hold all extra-special characters along with some monsters/generics? Just curious, because it'd be great to be able to do so, along with being able to bench some units, as well.
