add a link to a stand-alone fftactext

and a stand-alone shishi

this will help alot of noobs who don't know it's inside the fftpatcher download

To be fair now, the second-most-recent RAR didn't have TacText.

I could make it say "FFTPatcher & Shishi Sprite Editor & Tactext"?

As for making them separate downloads, I'd prefer to have melonhead manage that.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

Quote from: "Zodiac"I could make it say "FFTPatcher & Shishi Sprite Editor & Tactext"?
yeah that would work

this suggestion is to avoid all the noobs asking "but I don't see shishi / fftactext in the download section!"

which happens ALL THE TIME~~

How about rename it 'basic editing package'?

I was going to suggest 'editing package' but that would entail graphicsgale, tilemolester, the portrait editor thing, event compiler and decompiler, event.out editor, an emulator, its ROMs, the ISOs, CFW, CDMage, video maker (in the archives), Alcohol 120%, ppf-o-matic...

that's actually not a bad idea

the downloads section is kinda messy IMO

What would you propose? Sections?

Like FFT Editors, ISO editors, Patchers, Others, etc. Dunno.

just an idea:

NOTE:  I prefer to just keep everything together in the same download section like we have it now, though

It would be handy indeed, can't say I've heard of all of these, new programs seem to pop up frequently.

I'd also recommend that each link takes you to a seperate page with descriptions of what the tool is for.

Also, why is this in Archives and not hacking / patching tools? http://www.ffhacktics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=169

One problem - you've uploaded the wrong FFTPatcher package. The version you put on the downloads page is the previous version of FFTPatcher and Shishi.

The one that should be put up is the one in this thread:

http://www.ffhacktics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3446

THIS is the one that has the most recent FFTPatcher, Shishi, FFTacText, and FFTorgASM.

First: I haven't uploaded anything
Second: I'm still waiting for melonhead to allow me some kind of detection for the newest patcher to direct link.

Ah, okay then. I don't see the harm in putting the newest patcher there though as it's already in the forum.
