Site in on a small pause because I want to work on the events some more, since I've only been doing PHP and JavaScript lately.

Well, as you see I'm currently working a lot on the site, and I'm not really doing anything else. As soon as I finish the beta, I'll go back to the events scripts.  

Oh, in regards to that, can you tell me everything about the structure of TEST.EVT and of an event? there's not much to say, I just don't get how the game determines it has to load which block and how the pointer for text is working (although I haven't even check that ;o).

Because in the end, if I want to make an event editor that can edit ATTACK.OUT and TEST.EVT I'll need that.

And harps are good as they are... my bard was doing decent damage for the range. It's not like they're warriors anyway.

There are 98 music files, and the sound test has 98 songs...

And Mp3 is a pretty crappy format, you can find the PSF archive easily by googling, although I plan to add it to the downloads section.

In my case XChat was free because you can just compile the source code yourself, and it doesn't expire that way.

I always found most options in MIRC to be unnecessary.

Well a lot of people use PJirc even now... I have no idea what's happening on your side really. I do remember seeing a few times you tried to log (I saw your IP) and then dropping a few seconds after. You shoud get your own IRC client. Personally I use XChat, but get whatever you want.

Good idea, each section could have their own screenshots, so we wouldn't be confused with other patches' screenshots. I'll start working on that.

FFTPatcher > ENTD > one of the flags is called "Control" check that for every guest character in battles.

Given the number of submissions to come it would fastly get into a real mess and become confusing for newcomers.

As I already said, Martial Arts + Attack up OR Two Hands both results in 2x DO damage. Two Hands + Martial arts = 3x damage; not sure you actually NEED a 2H weapon, but I doubt.

None of us is getting paid to be here. You act as if you have never done anything wrong.
By the way, getting annoyed IS emotional. Don't try to deny it.
If you can't accept criticism as you've showed several times already, this topic's existence should either not be or should be simply a "Give me some ideas" topic. Because in the end, you're going to be the only one that is going to play it if you continue like that. And I don't want to host a patch with all the stuff for a 1P patch. :/

Well given that, you have pretty much 3 choices available:
- Quit posting
- Stop acting like a jerk
- Leave things as is, but I don't recommend it as you will be "annoyed" at the sight of some people of our community.

Well I woudn't know to CREATE battles. I haven't looked into battle instructions yet; like what triggers Gaffy's cowardly teleport.

But you should be able to link battles with each other using ATTACK.OUT like explained in the Maps topic.

Well, wouldn't it be possible to just hack the top of the image with a few instructions somehow?

Like pasting many white rows with only a few more instructions and loading the rest of the image, then it can be processed as inteaded.

Oh it looks like you could just cut the image and make it print at the middle. your text seems to only appear in the middle of the whole thing.

I'm not really the best person to help though. :/
