News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Yep you guessed right.

0x01 Degenerator
0x01 Death Trap
0x01 Sleeping Gas
0x01 Steel Needle

melon told me there were extra in the PSP version (multiplayer). Considering one of them can invoke a random summon, that's pretty broken.

Move find items are in BATTLE.BIN
Offset: 0x8EE74

And I'd bet the rest you mentioned is there too.

Told melonhead about it so he should put it in his next update.

Don't worry gomtuu, I'm playing way too much Valkyrie Profile myself.

Nah, I don't have a picture of it.

There are no dupes, no free space, and only the unused ones I mentioned.
And there is no place at all to add a monster (they take more space than humans).

I wasn't able to figure out how they are linked...Would have been nice since those priests files are rather small.

UNIT.BIN whoever the only ones unused (during the course of a normal game) are the priests ones (2/3 never seen priests + Simon).

what does VK stands for? Very Karsten?

By the way, you might want a forum section or this can get messy.

Gaah! I wish I had that chance. They teach English here, hardly Spanish, even less Mandarin as secondary languages but nothing else at all.

http://japanese.about.com/
Contains a lot of information but may be hard to find exactly what you are looking for.

http://www.guidetojapanese.org/
For grammar

When you are pretty fluent with the language, you may start having conversations with people whose original language is the one you're stdudying. However, you'll learn at the price of teaching the same amount of time: http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/.

Understand that my main language is french so I tend to head for french sites when it comes to learn words and grammar.

Personally, I don't recommend learning romaji. It's confusing, and the Japanese doesn't even know about it. Plus if you install the Japanese IME, you're not gonna type romaji to turn it into JP characters; they're going to be alphanumerized JP chars. In fact, I can't write/read romaji myself :P or make it sound good at least.

That's a bad lie... a lot people tend to say that but the only thing that can be considered hard would be learning the kanji and maybe the fact that there are no spaces.

The grammatical structure is ridiculously simple.

Anayway I'll shoot you my english links after school, I don't remember them by heart (as I use mainly . I may recommend you a few programs too like Ruby for firefox or another one I prefer which is Rikai-Chan; IIRC.

Well i can give you this link for now but it won't do any good as it only contains translated sentences. :P

But this is going to be a major tool when studying Japanese:
http://tatoeba.fr/?site_lg=en

I also translate from japanese/english to french on that site.

If you want to learn hirigana/katakana there is Jdrill & Slime Forest (which also has kanji later)

Slime Forest puts a lot on pressure on you as if you take too much time to answer or answer the wrong thing, a slime may call for another slime or hamedo you. PS: don't wander in the cave too early.

melonhead is coding it right now (generally speaking).

He even sent me a version that can load & compress text (but not save it) and it was doing pretty good, but not for things that has many instances like the ones you mentioned.

Well Cheeta's away and I think someone else too but can't recall right now. I can't tell about the others though. I suppose our community is too small so they forget of its existence.

As for the pirate:
Water & Time skills
And stealing abilities.

If Unit's JOB == Zodiac Monster OR Monster (ouch at 10k HP tiamat) OR Humanoid
1000% HP, 1000% MP
Cannot View Status
Hidden HP/MP/CT
Max HP/MP = 32767?

Else
1000% HP, 1000% MP
Cannot View Status
Hidden HP/MP/CT
Max HP/MP = 999

Holy shit... I PHAIL!

so much; really. I was certain that this status wasn't in the ENTD because I tried recreating a complete Zodiac Monster (in another battle) and it still had Viewable stats. However it looks like I either:
- Didn't copy the byte containing this boolean
or
- Forgot to import the file for my second test. (This often happens to me)

Thanks you so much Armorvil because I was clueless about all this and never though of ever trying to search for it in the ENTD.

If any of you want to hack the mini-bossed with invisible stats, you will need to give Miluda a special job with lower stats... Else she's gonna be one heck of a Knight. O_O

Hey, wait I need to make one of those controllable and see how it goes.

What!?

Booooring

Still a good thing it's been figured out. I'll be able to make my super Lucavi random battle much harder.

I'll check that out who exactly can be affected.

I want to make sections for patches too; I'll code the whole thing so it loads from FFT's raw data.

I think I decided how to code the pages.
I will include the code with my main frame and use the $_GET method to load from .txt files from the specified folder.

For example:
URL
http://www.ffthacktics.com/walkthrough. ... &battle=21
would load from
http://www.ffhacktics.com/psp/walkthrough/21.txt

similarly,
http://www.ffthacktics.com/walkthrough.php?s=gba
would load from
http://www.ffhacktics.com/gba/walkthrough/0.txt

then result in a 404 error because there is no gba folder... yet. </jk>

Of course that will require me to have a duplicate of each file for each folder but I can simply link back to the PSX folder if it's the same information.

since FFT uses its own sound library you'd have to convert your song to FFT's format which would probably sound WAY worse than a midi file. Obviously there is no program to do such thing. Obviously you're better off turning the sound off or making yourself a version with no music if you still want to hear the sound effects.

I still need the content! Plus right now I'm wondering how the user will be able to hotlking PSP or PSX pages without giving me the trouble of making a copy of each page for each version.
