News:

Use of ePSXe before 2.0 is highly discouraged. Mednafen, RetroArch, and Duckstation are recommended for playing/testing, pSX is recommended for debugging.

Help! / FFT:WotL Patch on hacked Vita
June 27, 2019, 09:39:55 am
I'll try and keep this as short as possible and I apologize if this was already answered(I did some searching, but I may have missed it). I am very new to hacking/homebrew. I just finished installing the Trinity hack for my Vita and have downloaded and installed HENkaku and VitaShell on my newly hacked Vita.

I am trying to go about patching WotL to remove the slowdown, but I am unsure where to go from here. I am aware that patching the PSN version of the game is not an option, but I have been seeing a few different things suggested and am not sure what the best course of action would be. A lot of people are suggesting installing Adrenaline(the PSP emulator) and grabbing and ISO and patching it and going that route, but I see other people saying that isn't necessary.

Being new to this scene, I am just having a hard time sifting through all the info and figuring out what is legit and what isn't. So would getting Adrenaline be the easiest/least painful/only way to go about patching WotL and play on my Vita? Or are there other ways to do it? I'm on Vita firmware 3.70, so I'm assuming I would need to downgrade.

Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
