Well, right now I'm going to use the FFTA1 to fill out the sprite sheet, if someone ever rips the sheets for FFTA2 for the flan then I'll use those

I prefer the FFTA2 Flan out of those three official sprites.
I would like to see you do a bit of detail work on the more goopy flan and try to find a good middle ground between that one and your first attempt.

I can't say I care for the tonberry or the turtle.  Both are too cartoony for FFT, in my opinion.

For the palettes, are those supposed to be female Knights (the traditional FF1 look)?  They look pretty good.

Do you have a full sheet of the FFTA1 flan, Zalge?

The flan is looking pretty good with the new colours (though I think i liked the way the colours were arranged on the old one more) but the new sprites are going to be a hell of a lot of work. They are smothered in outlines.

They aren't new, they're all official palettes. But they work well enough, don't they?

So, anyway, before I continue on the female knight to finish her sheet... What do you guys think about the helmet/tiara thingy? Remove it or change it in some way? If you have an idea of what you think it should look like, go ahead and take the picture, edit it, and post it so I can get a better idea of what you're thinking.

I think the knight tiara should be kept as a throwback to the first game.  I don't think I could do much with it, however...

I think the Tiara/ crown/ headguard on the sprite is okay. . . On the portrait it needs to be modded dont know how to make it more appropriate in the portrait though. . . colors. . . you already know this just use the ingame reds if you need so it wont be bright. . .

welcome back. . .

Update all in one picture on the front page. I didn't feel like updating each section.

Thoughts? Comments? Criticism?

I know peoples if gunna yell at me for this, but I started another sprite (and no, none of my other sprites are finished yet =P)

I just got inspired the yesterday after trying to make a female Ramza for no reason, LD told me not to cause its pointless, so I made a point for making Ramza look like LESS of a girl. Its odd how adding a girl's unique cape can make a boy look less girly. No one seems to use Ovelia's cape, so I put it on Ramza, did some other editing and... well, here is the first three frames.

What's that yellow thing on his left shoulder? A pin or something? It looks bit clashing with the cape and cloth being same colour. Is the cape up till the neck, something like summoner? Try distinguish his cloth and the cape, where it start.

Well, I kinda meant for them to be the same color, like the cape is actually part of his shirt instead of being a separate thing. Also, the yellow thing is from Ovelia's cape, I wasn't sure whether to remove it or not.

It looks good, but as Jimmy mentioned, the pin looks strange.

That cape looks pretty good; very regal. I too think you should separate the cape from the shirt, by either color or some slight modification, but everything looks good. I dunno if this makes Ramza look more manly though--then again, I didn't think he looked like a girl anyway, he just looked like a kid. Good work nonetheless.
