I know this works for both Windows and Mac, but you should note that it's especially for Macs (in the title i.e.) because as you pointed out, FFTPatcher and it's corresponding programs work only on Windows.

STICKY THIS PLEASE ^^

Ok this is a great video and I did learn a little about using the PPF Studio but honestly she goes over things very fast. Is there another program other than WinHex that we can use that we don't have to purchase for $50 in order to save!!?? She says things like "just get your favorite hex editor" as if we noobies know what we are doing. Please explain things more for us noobs and slow down. Ok my rant is over... now im going to look for a hex editing program that will save information like she does in her video..... Cheers. Much love.

If someone can please help... So I downloaded HxD editor and followed her instructions but when I try to increase the bytecount in the hex editor it gives an error: Out of memory. WTF? Please help.

Nevermind I figured it out thanks. Even tho it gives an error, it still saves it as the correct bytes so that now the bytes match. Heads up for you other noobs  ;)

I know this topic is super old but I'm getting close to finishing my patch and I'd like to be sure of what I'm doing. First let me say the tutorial was short but sweet. There's quite a bit of information smushed in there. I just want to be clear. Here is what I got from the video. First I make my own ISO patched with everything I want to do and restructured with Shishi. Then I hex edit my clean ISO file to append all those 00 bytes. Finally, I use PPF Studio to compare the two ISOs and build my PPF patch. Is that correct?

Yes, but you should also replace the last byte of your clean ISO to something else than 00.
