In all honesty, WKW should have won that first round.  All those whiffs from his very scary berserk Samurai would have been fatal to anyone on my team.  Once he started going down, it basically prevented the Mediator & Thief from really getting in there to disrupt ranks.

Round 2 kinda sorta went the same way.  Had one of those charms landed on my Oracle, the outcome would have been much different.

Finally...I never thought any of the amp moves could reach insane levels of damage.  Dark Mantis proved me wrong when a poor oiled & slept Monk got ripped apart for 616 damage thanks to Amp Bio.  He then managed to pull a Captain Rex and finish off the final enemy in round 2 with a redundant critical hit.  I shudder to think how much higher that Amp Bio would have gone if he crit or, in theory, if the Monk had been a frog.

What an intense match!  Yeah, I came out on the losing end, but this one went for quite a while with both teams being able to show just how deadly they are.  Seeing my Monk smack someone for 700 damage with Aurablast thanks to Oil was nice to see though.

Good to see my team rocking it hardcore.  Mediator does some good damage with that Glacier Gun, Ninja tanks up something fierce, especially if he gets a casting of Shell thrown on him, and my Oracle/White Mage user supports quite well.

As for my main attacker?  Well, there's a reason I named the team "X Gonna Give It To Ya!" and X showed just why he's a scary unit.  I think I could count on one hand how many times he did 350+ damage and flat out one hit killed targets.  Pretty sure he was the sole reason I managed to pull out a win on round 2 as it got close there.

Otherwise, quite happy with this win.  GG Andante!

Definitely feeling good about my earth absorb team now after seeing this match.  Solid offense, good defense (letting a Raise 2 Oracle go around and spam said move isn't exactly good for anyone's health), the works.

Also, props for using one of my favorite remixes of Megaman X3's intro stage (from Project X Zone 2 if anyone was curious) on top of X8's boss theme.  I think that inspired Captain Rex to pull off a couple moments of pure overkill on a pair of enemy units.  590 crit Spin Fist in round 1 and 778 Earth Slash in round 2 against an oiled Chemist?  Me like!

I got stomped, heh.  Sometimes going too fast bites you in the ass as it did here.  At least my hybrid idea for Zero is working out well enough (309 damage katana strike without Attack Up?  Yes please!).  Just gotta tweak a few things and hopefully Axl won't be the useless twat he insists on being for me. GJ Heroebal!

Watching this match made me realize my team seems to do best on medium & large maps.  On small maps, I have to land some early status ailments or I tend to run into trouble, especially if the enemy team has AoE users, hence why I lost the first round.

Still, my team did their job well in the following rounds and won the match.  GG!

As for my Chemist...she has Hi-Potion simply due to JP limits.  Could fix it if I swapped out Ignore Height for Maintenance.  She can then take out Hi-Potion and get X Potion and also have an extra 100 JP to toss into another ailment curing item.  Will probably do that here at some point today.

Pretty exciting match here.  Round 1 didn't go in my favor, but hilarity ensued in round 2 when the dead male Summoner's Reflect Ring got involved with shenanigans from Iris, resulting in two stopped Paladins (and don't move getting inflicted on the turn after for insult to injury), thereby sealing my win there.

Round 3 I think Altair would have had a chance to win in had King Arthur decided not to challenge Zero to one on one combat.  Doubly so when Iris steps in with the cheap shot and disables him.

As for the rest of his team....they were getting stymied by Axl & X.  If one of them went down to Death casting shenanigans, they almost always got picked right back up.  By the time Zero finished his duel, the other three units were pretty much dead and a win was secured with a little effort.  GG Altair!

About damn time my team gets to flex their muscles!  Axl doesn't get useless'd at the start of a match, X gets to pick off weakened units and nail 2-3 units with every Cover Fire (and somehow be the only unit in the team to ever go down in either match, heh), Zero spears bitches in the face by land or air, and Iris doing good on the support role.  Gotta love that 508 damage jump too.  Good match and happy to have my first win!

A fun way to relax at night I must say.  I had some lucky dodges in the first round that determined the outcome of the battle I feel.

Round 2 though?  That was a slaughter for poor Argy, heh.  Good match though!  Going to make a few small tweaks as suggested by people in the stream to tighten up this team even more.
