Ello Guys,

As I wanted to play some 1.3, the easy way, with even half experience gain, on my psp, with the latest version, I went on my way to get such an eboot. I could not get my own psx iso, because of stupid I/O-device errors on every computer I tried. After finding one, I patched it with the patch, and then used FFT orgASM to get the exp hack. Then converting to an eboot, I thought I was done. Apparentyl not, as after the monastery battle, where Agrias runs back in, she does not and eveyone just stands there, it's raining, and nothing happens. After loading a save which throws me right in the battle in Gariland, I get a black screen after the formation screen.
- On ePSXe, everything works.
- Loading a chapter 2 save file, I have found no errors playing on the psp.
- I never had any problems with EBOOTs on the PSP before, and even now this is the only game with trouble.
- The iso I used as a 'base' converted to an EBOOT for PSP does work quite well.
- The patched iso converted for PSP has the same problems.
I think the problem lies with converting a patched iso,but I\m not completely sure. I would like to test it with a cleanly ripped iso, which I can't amke, as told abpve. Could anyone help me with this problem?

Help! / Shop listings are a weird thing

Whenever I change items, some things work, some things don't. In fact, everything works, except the world.bin edits. That is, only the shop in which they should appear is not working, everything else is. I started a new game to make sure there would be no problems that could have to do with save games/states, but to no avail. After opening the patched ISO in fftpatcher, I discovered the changes were in fact not even saved to the ISO. Now my questions; 1) Why? 2) Is it fixable?
I read in some older topics that LD had no problems with changing this stuff, and I feel fftpatcher is discriminating against me :c

edit: yes, the world.bin box was checked.

Help! / FFTorgASM

I was trying to make an xml so I wouldnt have to change it manually all the time, yet if I make a new xml, how do I make it so that fftorgasm will recognize it as an xml with new patches? I also tried just copy/pasting the code to an existing xml file, but then the program would just ignore that xml instead. I feel ignored. Could someone help me with this?

Help! / Materia Blade change

As I actually like the idea of an item giving access to skills, I wondered if it was possible to:
1.1) change the Materia Blade so it equips in the accessory slot
1.2.1) change the item checked from materia blade to some accessory
1.2.2) change it so that multiple items are checked, items not limited to weapons.

If anyone knows, and how, it would be much appriciated.

Old Project Ideas / Tea's class change challenge

So I made this complete job revamp for generics. I want to know your opinion:
Is it not Overpowered?
Is it Original?
Do the classes have a feel to it?
Do you feel something is lacking?
WHat do you propose should be done differently?
Could I be suitable to work on more of these class ideas to help with other patches that have story/other changes?
Anything you come up with that I should know?

It's in an Excel sheet format, and I finished the classes, not the items. However, the classes themselves should give a good image I think.

One question. Is there a way to change whether skills are effected by these things, the support UPs, shell, protect and zodiac compatibility?

Spriting / Basic Sprite editing

For my own little project I need to make some new sprites. That's all awesome and stuff, but these spritesheets confuse me to no end. I get that its all needed, but there are a few things I don't get. I added a file with a picture using a nice sprite to make clear what parts I don't get. In text these things are:

-Why is stuff organised like this, and how is it even organised?
-How big can I make the sprites?
-What arms show their front, and what the back (especially the lower arms I don't quite get)
-Making sprites was done with only 16 colours, correct?

I'd like to make a few sprites of my own, but I need some more information before starting :>

I have been trying for the past week to make a nice patch for FFT with some changes in all areas. Also making it possible to buy those rare items at will, and having certain characters join at certain times. However, these last two things don't really work as intended.

The shop availability is simple, the items (knight swords and the like) just won't appear in the shops. I unchecked the "rare" tag," and made them available from the start in chapter 1. When I go into a shop, the only extra items that appear are the items that were already set as buyable somewhere, which seems weird. Can't I set these items to buyable, or is there some trick to it I don't know?

The other problem is about characters joining that wouldnt normally join. Say, Oran joining in Grog Hill after he meets you accidentily. Say, Formav and company joining after your battle in Mulonde (this was my test battle). I made them exactly the same as other characters who DO join after an event (Meliadoul, Rapha, Malak), but it won't work. They just teleport away and I go to the next battle. I could of course uncheck the "immunity to traitor status" box, but that's not possible with Oran. He's never fighting you after all.

Is there anything I missed, or is it just plain imossible?
