Unit knows skills without learning them

I'm running into a problem with editing Samurai. I've taken skillset 53, put in some Dark Knight abilities, changed the sprite around, blah blah blah, and it all works fine, except for one thing.

Two of the abilities, Dark Sword (which I made seperate from Gafgarion's Dark Sword for a couple reasons; it's the new Protect 2) and Hell Shockwave (replaced Mind Break), are usable without having been learned.

I haven't FULLY tested this (as my little "test playthrough" currently only has one character with Dark Knight unlocked), but the problem is as I said; without buying them with JP, they show up as completely useable in the battle list. But, the wierd thing is, the other custom skill I put in, Dark Eternity (edit of Shell 2), works fine (as in doesn't show up without being learned).

I've taken some screenshots of the skillset and flags and whatnot for Dark Eternity and Hell Shockwave, in case there's something in their flags or whatever I'm not seeing that causes one to work but not the other;

Knowing me, it's probably something unbelievably simple.

Thanks in advance!

I think you need to use the Generic Skillset fix if you're fiddling around with Samurai. Not 100% sure, though.

"You, no less human than we? Ha! Now there's a beastly thought. You've been less than we from the moment your baseborn father fell upon your mother in whatever gutter saw you sired! You've been chattel since you came into the world drenched in common blood!"

Yeah, I've tried meddling with the samurai slot before with little success. Although... your problem might be that you still have the samurai skillset reliant on checking your inventory. Go to action menus and switch it to default and try it. If that doesn't work, you either will have to use a different set or use the Generic Skillset fix (though I haven't used it myself, so just read through the thread for more information).
