Too bad with the limited space =.=
I like Arch's edit, with the picture ^^
Well, I guess we either edit text or put a background picture just within the text, however it will look weird as the whole background black but the text background with picture.
So, this means only edit text...Too bad =.=
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Why are we limited to text edits again?

I thought my placement for the pic was just wrong?

It is... I'm not... sure what they're exactly referring to.
"Moment's anger can revert to joy,
sadness can be turned to delight.
A nation destroyed cannot be restored,
the dead brought back to life."

What? Wrong placement? I thought it was because of limited space =.=
Hahaha. Sorry. Misunderstood. If it isn't limited, its good then ^^
We're going to have nice "Game Over" background.
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

I see. Great. Can't wait till then ^^
Well, I wish I knew more about hacking stuff so that I may help a little but unfortunately, I'm a newbie =.=
A lot things I really don't know how they work. Haha.
By the way, one question; how do you make the background transparent?
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

It's limited, because it doesn't support fullscreen. :)

Here's my try; Can someone test it out?

Awesome, Mike. This is really great text edit. I'm liking the texture of smudge a little bit and the colour is great ^^
Well done.

QuoteI supposed the black colour gives the transparency

Nono. I didn't mean in the game. I meant like normal picture. You see one of my signature cless has transparent background...I'm talking about that. I only able to make the background colour become portrait background colour, like that cless sprite.

EDIT: Err...Nevermind. I got it figured out ^^

Thanks.. I did a darker color brown shading, to fit well with Mercenaries. In fact, I used the pic given by Sir Voldemort there.
Just smudged a little bit. :)

Hmmm...Voldemort's version in-game seems to focus on his knee, right? Perhaps understanding what portion of the image is used will allow us to develop some sort of alternative...

Yes mav. Also, I would suggest if the border(boundary) would be blurred. :)

Is it necessary to cram new pictures into everything? I think the current game over screen is fine.

Yes, current game over screen looks fine but with a little touch, it'll look better; like what Mike did here, looks great ^^
And since Mercenaries has its own title screen(I think), so, making its own game over screen isn't too bad ^^
Adding picture is not too bad too, however, if its only within that boundary ("Game Over" text), I suggest don't add picture because with that background black and just a portion of the picture at the text, it just doesn't look really good. My opinion, of course ^^

Well, I think making one is pointless here. I just realized..

Well, anyway, can someone test it?

^ That's my problem. I can't import the image using shishi.
I'm sure I did make the image indexed, and has 8 bytes, .gif file.

Hey jimmy, do you want to test it?
Just import the pic into the old gameoverscreen using
the latest shishi.

EDIT: The image above is .gif file but 8.81kb

EDIT: Sorry. I didn't download latest shishi =.=
I'll try with the latest shishi.
