Think I'll take Attack on this one.
23
I'll take fisherman's, I think. I love the FFX themes going on in that first one, but even so.
24
Think I'll go with Banished for this one.

Struggle, 100% struggle.

(On a side note, Eternal, your avatar looks like it's from the Matrix. It's pretty badass. xD)

Yeah Xif just found and fixed it from KoI. Dunno how you would've known it existed since KoI wasn't released.
Either way, you've never once mentioned it, so I dunno where the "SEE" comes from...

* Elric smacks Durbs

(also, update your signature)

Bull**** I haven't mentioned it. But I'll let it slide since it's been ages since it's been brought up. :P KoI was released on a demo upon request, btw; I played through it. The controllable guests was the part I remember best.

And I shall.

Version 1.96 is released and has some good updates and a really nice new feature - Guests can now be deployed through your Pre-Battle Formation screen when they are not already force-deployed in that battle.  This means you can take all of your Chapter 1 Guests into Random Battles with you to keep them trained and deploy Agrias in Story Battles battles where she isn't otherwise present.  Note that these units maintain all properties of being Guests, so they are always Immortal and always under AI control, even when deployed in this way.

It's not the only new thing in v1.96 though, so check the Download thread to find out more via the Changelog.  Enjoy.

See, I knew that hack existed somewhere! xD

1. Where did the concepts for Tesnya & Romar come from? And why did you choose specifically both to make them twins and use the Cyan sprite for them?

I can answer that in part (Elric / Raven, correct me if I'm wrong on any of this); having a secret information network of spies in place is actually mildly important to the plotline and Delita himself. Basically, we needed two characters working under him for this express purpose, so we drafted up their shady personalities to accompany that and in came Tesnya and Romar. The general reason for making them brothers was just that it seemed to fit (how many mafias do you know of that don't have family ties?), but there were a few smaller much less significant factors.

As for the Cyan sprite, I think it was by mutual consensus. I'm not sure if I was the one to specifically pick it when I wrote the basic script, but it is definitely the most fitting to their characters I think. (Don't view it as Cyan, my padawan, think of the sprite itself.)

Says the guy who never played Devil May Cry or Metal Gear Solid.

DMC only out of the five. What are you talking about, I love MG. +_+

"Tough. Blame yourself or RavenofRazgriz."

I laughed too hard at that.

Hi guys, just finished Chapter 1. This hack so far is outstanding and i like to commend everybody who is working on this. Hope you guys don't quit this and i can't wait till next year to continue this game.

Next year? Think of Ch1 as a bear, twice normal size... and on fire. Can't forget that. If we can beat a flaming bear giant, it's smooth sailing from here. Or at least smoother.

If my hasty analogy confused anyone, Ch1 only took so long because it was the first of its kind, and everything had to be done from scratch. We're not making things from scratch the second time around, so to be perfectly honest I think we can get this done in as little as 3 or 4 months, provided all the cogs mesh together. The battle system is already in place and no further ASMs will need to be made, 2 of the most time-consuming factors, so we can probably do this quite quickly.

Oh, you did give them the hint. I was keeping it vague just in case.

But yes, completely confirming this.

Invigorate (Knight), Revive (Monk), and Full-Life (Priest) alongside Wish (Duke) can easily keep your team alive with few to no Phoenix Downs, especially if you take a roadtrip to get Half MP (Wizard), which will also help characters like Link and Dante use more of their offensive skills as well as help the stronger Ranger skills quickly cripple foes.

Though I haven't taken the time to get Half MP yet, that's also on the horizon.

Don't forget Ramza has wish :/ More cost effective

Agreed. And also, disagreeing with you there scbw. There is a move that will make your life infinitely easier. Read some of the advanced classes' movesets when you unlock them.

No, no, Durbs.   I had already changed it when you played on v1.2.

Theversion on the v1.0 and v1.1 releases was even harder, and that one was already nerfed quite a bit from the InDev version.

Looks like you had a rough time of things.

Hopefully you've updated to v1.3 for the next fight or it might be more than a little difficult.  (It'll still be a challenge but it'll be worse if you haven't updated.)

Pff. So he changes it AFTER I bang my head on the wall dozens of times. +_+

Thanks Celdia. I kind of tried these things but not with success.  I guess I will try some more or restart and try more like Durbs said.

Thank you both :)

Yeah, don't feel bad. Monsters in JotF are kind of ridiculous. It took me quite a few tries too.
