thanks jumza! @xifi, by complex and confusing, i mean how the editors work, not that eventing itself seems to be. second, i was asking if eventing editors are version specific like asm or if they work with all version. for the third thing, i was wondering if there a specific order of operation between them, like there is between patcher, tactext, and orgasm.

i would love a tutorial on how to manipulate status effects, i think they are mostly overlooked so having a tutorial on it would help more than just me

i mean, which sprites have complete sheets and therefore can be used without further ado? obviously every has workable portrait. it's also to know which sprites need to be switched or modified before use.

i would like to see kefka in god form, would make a good special character. kos-mos would also be great, or a mystic knight (sorta  already exists, but only one gender?) some sort of angel who isn't glitchy like ultima/altima would also be great, oh, and lest i forget, a vampire (ala bravely default or suikoden's sierra micain, or even dracula from castlevania) i'd also like to see spell fencer sprites

i dunno. all the editors seem complex and vaguely confusing. are they version specific like asm? and what is their relationship with spriting tools?

i didn't ask for any! though i guess technically i'm not really new either! existing sprites had everything i wanted anyway, and i'd rather learn how to make them rather than badgering people. this topic sure seems to have been proven since then. o.o

someone else might want to do it, you never know who's lurking. anyway, i'd like to see a real ff5 myatic knight. all the spells already exists, so it's just a matter of implementation. i suppose one could use status (or formula 2) to apply the spells after normal attacks, or make them more like swordskills with the effects. it's probably less practical to try and implement the skills exactly like 5, with the increasingly powerful bonus damage(and instant death) for hitting weakness. i'll admit to being slightly confused on how to implement the two drain moves. come to think of it, spell fencer ala bravely default would also be excellent, perhaps even moreso. i also wouldn't mind either version having a few normal spells. spell fencer has some awesome passives.

if i did the first suggestion, every class would be immortal. second option, i know, i'm trying to make undead more beneficial to make up for not being able to heal normally. admittedly i could make the vampire class specifically immune those, but then it would only be that class, trapping the unit from switching job. three doesn't really help the situation. immortal flagging would be nice, but doesn't help the situation either. the asm i want already exists, it was used in jot5. i couldn't find it so i asked here. elric said he would post it here but obviously didn't.

doesn't the orgasm version makes one either rot or revive immediately? i want them to revive with no chance of rotting, and without making them invincible due to immune crystal and treasure
