Haha, thank you everyone
It's good to see so many people enjoying these, it makes the
time i spend on them well worth it  ;)

Haha thanx everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The next one should be along sooner then it took to make part 2.
I already have story ideas in mind up to episode 5 (right now anyway) so you can be sure that there will be more :D.

But now that part 2 is done, my main priority is working my ass off to get Chapter 1 of Jot5 out to you guys.
And honestly the biggest thing left to finish at this point is the events (where it used to be the smallest)
Everyone can give alot of thanks to Raven for this.

I would "like" to say that Chapter 1 will be out 2 weeks ahead of schedule, but you never know.

Is it possible to have a character start out in a battle normal, with the an ability or spell to change into a lucavi using the same animations the actual ones use?

I could walk you thru how to do this event wise. If that's what you are trying to do (since that would actually require very little to do in a event. A simple wait, effect, erase, draw, unitanim 02.)

You could also use this method and go a bit further as Raven mentioned and make it an actual trigger so that it wouldn't happen until later on in the battle when that trigger is met.
(I could also show you how to do that, if you really want to)

But if you're trying to have an actual ability that makes your character transform into a Lucavi. It really don't think that's gonna be nearly as easy :P

Anyway I decided after i finish the event I'm currently working on here in an hour or so. I will finally do something
that I said i would a long time ago. The new episode if Kage and Twin will be made tonight :P

I may eventually make another thread for things like that but for now I will post it here, so expect to see it either
very late tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Screw plaid, let's see a green and red xmas battle chicken.

Every year, on the Eve of Saggittarius the 30th, Kanbabrif mounts his airship with red and green chocobos, which pull it across the night sky of Ivalice.  While he flies, he dispenses justice upon the wicked and drops candied frogs down upon the righteous.

..Could I buy some pot off of you?

Finished another Event \o/ Also inserted our first working EVTCHR. Still moving forward
3696
\o/ I'm back with a explanations on 2 Unknown commands

FADE/COLOR TINT
{3E} An example of which would be  {3E}(r02000000FFFFFF3C00)
This command is FADE. It is used to make the map fade out during cut-scenes by using
black (FFFFFF) and the Speed is controlled by the 3C after the color and can be adjusted
to be faster or slower at the Eventers preference.

Not only can this fade out to black, but with certain argument to the command you can make this
(instead of black) use primary or secondary colors instead with these arguments
r00   -   R,G,B
r01   -   R,G,B
r02   -   G,P,Y
r03   -   R,G,B
r04   -   R,G,B
r05   -   R,G,B
r06   -   G,P,Y
r07   -   R,G,B
r08   -   R,G,B
r09   -   R,G,B
r0A   -   G,P,Y
r0B   -   R,G,B
r0C   -   R,G,B
r0D   -   R,G,B
r0E   -   G,P,Y
r0F   -   R,G,B
r10   -   R,G,B
r11   -   R,G,B
r12   -   G,P,Y

NOTE: You would still need to adjust the FFFFFF to be the correct color.

EVTCHR PALETTE
{7F} An example of which would be {7F}(r80000002) has to do with EVTCHR palette color.
In this instance UNIT 80 would use palette 02 (they start at 0, so 2 would actually be the third sheet)
(For anyone confused on this, download EVTCHR Viewer, then open a EVTCHR and you will see ~ 5-10
sheets for every EVTCHR which all represent different palettes and need to be edited separately.)
*Thanx to Kokojo for helping me figure this one out*

NOTE: I will provide a full tutorial on how EVTCHR works in events soon, It will be added to my tutorial
since some seem to be a bit finicky and actually make your character change direction in which you would need
to follow otherwise they wouldn't show.  :P

EDIT: In regards to command {99} BlueRemoveUnit(xID,x00) This only works on non Charmed/Invited enemy units
an example would be when you defeat Weigraf at the windmill map and his units disappear with a blue hue. This (AFAIK)
will not work on Ally units or guests.

Help! / Re: Replacing Orginal Sprites
February 01, 2012, 04:56:34 am
You need to give me more info man. I'm not trying to be blunt. But I can't tell you what Type without knowing which sprite you are using..

Step 1: Download sprite from main site. (Taking not of the TYPE listed there)
Step 2: Using Shishi, import custom sprite (first making sure that the one it is replacing has been set to the correct type)
Step 3: Profit

As for PSP I dunno, I've done both PSX and PSP this way and not had an issue in the past, but I haven't played the PSP one in quite some time
so I may be incorrect.

Hope this helps.

Also, check the tutorials section.

NOTE: In the future it's probably best if you don't post 3 times before someone is even able to reply to your question...

...once again "i'm using psp" does not tell us what the issue is

Quote from: Elric42 on February 01, 2012, 04:43:52 am
Are you using a psx Iso/bin? Are you using Shishi?
What exactly is the issue you are having replacing it?

You don't need to rename anything to use it in Shishi, you just need to make sure
that you have the SEQ and SHP Types correctly
