But uh, how come the Alchemist was able to absorb both Flowing Strike and Terran Thrust?

Whoa, very lucky dodge by my Mystic Knight in round 2. Things definitely would've gone differently if it had hit.
The Final Charge really was 'final,' seeing how the tactician promptly died to poison right after XD

Someone with Tactician's Shoes -> Haste your whole party at fairly high percentages is nice. (granted, I've only used that in one battle so far) Similarly, Transparent + Float (both easy statuses to start out with) -> Slow all the enemies.
They make you jump through some hoops, but they can be useful. There was an item (Phantom Vial or something like that) that gave a bunch of statuses necessary for Tactician skills to work.
They just seem like a fun class to use, at any rate. I definitely plan on experimenting with them some more.

It's kinda hard when 1. you do crap damage, 2. they can easily outheal your crap damage, and 3. Don't Act means they take less damage, and gives them time for the Dances to kick in.

DS does effectively drop units in 2 turns - DS'd units have two actions before they fall flat.

I knew they were capable of one-shotting, but I thought my team was fairly good at dealing with that. Probably the Quickening and Speed Save nerfs. And did my Ninja not do a single Arm Aim? Hmm. Will definitely have to actually update. Round one was fun, gg.


No damage output = big problem. Round 1 map definitely did not help.


Those matches were essentially races to see who'd get the first kill (and some RNG love for me). Was rather fun. gg

Loremasters are cool. So are Gunslingers. I also like the Ele-absorb movement abilities.

I'm kinda tempted to FFTastic tons of JP for everyone -> experiment -> get an idea of what to use and etc for the CCP AI battles. >_>

Nah, 40 Faith + Auto-Potion + Item will keep the Mediators nice and healthy, and Counter Flood into Iron Fan poke should drop/almost drop my Summoners. I guess there's still Draw Out. We'll see.

I have 2 Hidden Knives for the speed. The Ninja's there mostly for Arm Aim, anyway.

As a note, I have a new team (Holy Stones), in case no one's noticed.

Off the top of my head, Finath, Barius Valley, Bethla Sluice for sure. Zigolis might have some D2 water.

Also, Wiz made some adjustments to some of the starting placements for S5, but philsov's post that Damned linked to should suffice.

Accumulate with CT + AI = problems. IIRC Accumulate targets panel, so the AI will charge Accumulate, then move out of its effect.
Petrify accuracy up a lot! Dunno if that's intentional or not. But since Petrify is fairly easily countered, I guess it's ok.
I don't think MP Restore JP needs to go up just yet. It isn't appearing very often as a mage's reaction ability.

Everything else looks fine.
