it's a mess, really... are you goodat psx ASM programming?  it's easier to change the music of the videos but i think this is not what you look for.

since FFT uses its own sound library you'd have to convert your song to FFT's format which would probably sound WAY worse than a midi file. Obviously there is no program to do such thing. Obviously you're better off turning the sound off or making yourself a version with no music if you still want to hear the sound effects.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)

ive heard unused tracks within the game too... off of a ripped set of music i got from zophar's domain... is there a way to assign one of those unused tracks to a particular battle or map?
