Sprite Rip Question

Any way to rip and/or convert sprites from the Nintendo DS version of Valkyrie Profile?  

Valkyrie Profile - Covenant of the Plume has great FFT-style graphics and gameplay, but every time you attack an enemy, you go to a separate screen where you deal damage with the the Y,X,B, and A buttons, in the same manner as the original Valkyrie Profile (provided you can maneuver your team around the map and surround the enemy).

Covenant of the Plume is a great installment of both the Valkyrie Profile series and FFT-style games in general.  I wish there was a way to somehow cross these characters over sprite wise to FFT (or vice versa even).
