3.0 Reaction, Support, Movement


3.1 Reactions

3.11 Learnable Reactions

  • Absorb Used MP
    Overview: Receiver restores MP based on the MP cost of the Sender's spell.
    Trigger: Any ability that uses MP that targets the receiver, regardless if it misses and regardless if it is positive or negative.

  • Auto-Haste (replaces Auto-Potion)
    Overview: Receiver will use "Haste Pill".
    Trigger: Damage taken.

  • Counter
    Overview: Receiver uses Attacak Command on Sender.
    Trigger: Counter-able attacks, regardless if miss or not.

  • Critical Quick
    Overview: Grants Quick.
    Trigger: Damage taken when HP < 20% (critical status).

  • Distribute
    Overview: Restores any excess HP Healed to allymembers not already at max HP.
    Trigger: Any excess HP Healed on receiver that is not casted by the same receiver.
    Note: Animation will only be shown on a single target.
    Free: White Mage

  • Double Magick (replaces Counter Magick)
    Overview: Receiver will cast the same spell back at the Sender.
    Trigger: Any Healing or buffing Magick. Example: White Mage's Runic Barrier.
    Note: MP will be used.

  • Dragon Spirit
    Overview: Grants Reraise on trigger.
    Trigger: Counter-able attacks, regardless if miss or not.

  • MA Save
    Overview: +1 MA.
    Trigger: Damage taken.

  • PA Save
    Overview: +1 PA.
    Trigger: Damage Taken.

  • HP Save (replaces Brave Up)
    Overview: +50 MaxHP.
    Trigger: Damage Taken.

  • MP Save (replaces Faith Up)
    Overview: +25 MaxMP.
    Trigger: Damage Taken.




3.12 Unlearnable Reactions
  • Blade Grasp
    Overview: Evade incoming Counter-able attacks.
    Free: Garamonde.

  • Critical MP Restore
    Overview: Receiver restores 100% MP.
    Trigger: Damage taken when HP < 20% (Critical Status)
    Free: Summoner.

  • Damage Split
    Overview: Receiver restores 50% of damage taken and repels 50% of the damage taken back at sender.
    Trigger: Damage taken.

  • Double Evasion
    Overview: Doubles all evasion of unit (including WEP.Ev, M.Ev).
    Trigger: Always-Active.
    Free: Hermit, Zorine, Celia, Lettie.

  • Hamedo
    Overview: Uses Attack command before getting attacked by an Attack command.
    Trigger: Attack command from sender.
    Free: Rakunar.

  • Meatbone Slash
    Overview: Uses an attack command that does selfMaxHP damage to the sender.
    Trigger: HP loss when HP < 20% (critical status).
    Free: Samurai.

  • MP Shield
    Overview: HP loss is shifted to MP instead.
    Trigger: Receiving damage when MP is > 0.

  • Speed-Save
    Overview: +1 Speed.
    Trigger: Damage taken.

  • Star-Cross (replaces Counter Flood)
    Overview: The Lucavi Reaction; depending on the terrain of receiver, the correspoding Fear spell will be repelled back at the sender. The Fear spell is usually a radius-1 AoE status attack.
    Trigger: All offensive attacks.
    Free: Every Lucavi.

    Free: Paladin.

  • Defend
    Overview: Allows the Defend command.

  • Equip Change
    Overview: Allows Equip Change command.
    Free: Chemist, Shooter, Jobless.

  • Equip Shield
    Overview: Allows Shield to be equipped.
    Free: Paladin.

  • Half of MP
    Overview: Halves MP cost of all spells.
    Free: White Mage.

  • Throw Item
    Overview: Allows throwing of Items (range = 4 within line of sight).
    Free: Chemist.

  • Brawler / Martial Arts
    Overview: 1.5x PA on Monk related formulas.
    Free: Monk

  • Concentrate
    Overview: 100% accuracy on P.Attacks.
    Free: Shooter.

  • Duo Wield / Two Swords
    Overview: Allows a wepaon to be equipped on each hand for Duo-Wieldable Weapons.
    Free: Rogue, Hermit, Rakunar.

  • Magick Attack Up
    Overview: Effective MA = MA * 130%.
    Free: Black Mage.

  • Monster Skill
    Overview: Allows a corresponding Monster Skill to be used when standing next to a monster.
    Free: Hunter.

  • Monster Talk
    Overview: Allows certain Hunter skills to be used on Monster units.
    Free: Hunter.

  • Safeguard / Maintenance
    Overview: Unit' equipment cannot be broken / stolen.
    Free: Gladiator, Chemist, Jobless.

  • Short-Charge
    Overview: Charge Time for CT spells is effectively halved; except for Perform spells.
    Free: Cletian, Matoya, Garamonde.

  • Two Hands
    Overview: Grip Two-Handable weapons with both hands, effectie WP is doubled for Attack command.
    Free: Garamonde, Messam Elmdore.

3.31 Learnable Movement

  • Float
    Overview: Same effect as Float status, but also allows movement on Lava panels.
    Float Status: Grants 1 additional vertical range as well as being immune to Slow, and Don't Move.

  • Jump +2
    Overview: Jump +2.

  • Move +1
    Overview: Move +1.

  • Move-MP Up
    Overview: Regain 10% of SelfMaxMP on movement.



3.32 Unlearnable Movement

  • Any Ground
    Overview: Cost of moving across flowing water is reduced to 1 (from 2) Move.
    Free: Mantra Knight.

  • Any Weather
    Overview: Marsh movement cost is reduce to 1 (from 2) Move on rainy weather. Lightning bonus and Fire reduction are also nullified.
    Free: Mantra Knight.

  • Fly
    Overview: Allows unit to fly over any obstacle, over panels of any height. Nullifies fall damage.
    Free: Hermit, Celia, Lettie.

  • Ignore Height
    Overview: Effective Jump = Infinity.
    Free: Anastasia, Skygoon.

  • Move on Water
    Overview: Move and stop atop water, as if it was normal ground.
    Free: Hermit.

  • Move Underwater
    Overview: Move and stop in water up to 3h deep without penalty.
    Free: Monk.

  • Move-Find Item
    Overview: Pickup items and ignore traps.
    Free: Chemist.

  • Move-HP Up
    Overview: Regain 10% of SelfMaxHP on movement.
    Free: Iron Giant.

  • Teleport
    Overview: Allows unit to bypass all obstacles and height tolerances, as well as moving outside of maximum move range. Rate of success decreases by 10% per panel out of range.
    Free: Warlock, Phantom.

Yes. It's called Intercept (Br% chance to activate Quick). It's a boss type reaction against rush teams.
