My first sprite! It's simply Delita with hood and a bit recolored, it would look different, but all got messed up, so that's all I got. Next one I create will be something better, I swear!

Aw man, the concept looks like it could have been good. For a better-looking upload, I suggest resizing a bit better--what program are you using? And most importantly don't save as JPG, PNG will keep things looking nice and clean.

It looks......blurry.......
Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, perhaps...it is time to die

I'm using Graphics Gale, it's a great program. I would upload it as PNG, but I know not how... Darthpaul, what do you mean by saying blurry? I'm not that good in english.

Yea. It's blurry but interesting concept though
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Open it in paint. File > Save As > Under where you enter the name you can select from like JPG PNG, 24 bitmap 256 bitmap. Select PNG for a clean look on this site.

To me, it's not just the fact that it's a JPG that's causing problem: the way the image was stretched was done improperly. If resizing was the problem, next time hit Select All (or use the resizing box tool to manually select what needs to be stretched) and then multiply the size. Then follow Kenshin's suggestions for saving it...though I'd expect there to be an option to save as PNG in Graphicsgale as well...

Step by step I'm getting used to GraphicsGale, so here is my next prototype, "demon knight". Every sugestions mostly appreciated, except arms/legs, I'm not changing them until I become a pro at spriting, now I only recolor them.

Certainly looks interesting, but again, it's a little fuzzy. Will this character have a tail and a cape? That's gonna get real tough real fast, so look out. Keep working on it though, and try to save the file as a PNG .

It is PNG Mav, but for some reason I don't know why it's fuzzy, but is a lot better than last one isn't it? He already got cape, he will have not tail, remember that he is a human. Anyway I think I will stop creating other sprites, and fully create demon knight, but I must hear more opinions if he is worth my work.

I'm still seeing .jpg at the end of the file...though the type is listed as PNG. Wacky. The image looks clearer than the last one, so that's a plus, but I was looking forward to seeing a completed version of a hooded Delita. But keep working on this one; the more sprites you finish, the better you get.

Anyway, keep working on 'em--you're doing pretty well.

Thanks for encouragement. His cape looks cool, it is deep mix of green and yellow. Maybe in distant future I will create Hooded Delita, but that's just plans. I must say I enjoy spriting, maybe someday I will be as great as present spriters on this site!

You know... I have to say that looks like an interesting base for a Male Viera, hehe. Good work with that.

I know, it look kind like Viera, especially the third one, but demon doesn't have side positions, so I have to create helmet and horn myself. I think I will recolor helm and horns, so that won't resemble viera that much. Any suggestions about horns are very appreciated.

Demons are a dime a dozen, and there's not a single look of a male Viera in any Ivalice game, I'd say just working for that would hold some value.
