Duke Olan definitely is just a starting point. Your comments gave me an idea that I hope will pan out though. What were the colors of the army that he use to be a member of?

Another thing for you, Cheetah. The map I'm using for Olan's scene inside Zeltennia castle (the one where Orlandu said "Soon there will be real war" or whatever) has a giant red drape/crest thing on the wall, with a black lion.

Red and black. There we go! Too bad this all takes place after the Lion War.. I'll have to smudge that lion out or something..

I doubt that after the war Lesalia's and Zeltennia's respective lions would cease to exist.  They're the seals for those particular regions, no?  If Olan is duke of Zeltennia, I would think he'd still use the black lion motif, unless I'm wrong and the lions belonged specifically to Larg and Goltanna.

Regardless of whether Olan still uses a lion insignia or not, perhaps he's an antique enthusiast and decides to keep his old liege lord's stuff (including flag!), you know, for old times' sake?  I doubt Olan would be the iconoclastic type to smudge out all traces of his duchy's rich history.

Oh, yeah, I have the one you posted. I just haven't 'ported him into the game yet, because I've been working on a million other things.

Have you tested him and everything?

Nope. I've only dealt with the .bmp versions of sprites.  I've yet to even touch a .spr file.  Yeah, I'm lazy and let other people do my testing for me.

Bad news, guys: This project isn't anywhere NEAR as complete as I'd have liked it to have been by now. I mean.. single-percentage completion. So I'll try to get more work done over the weekend, to catch up. What I'm saying is that there's absolutely NO WAY this will be finished by the 15th-20th. Maybe the end of July, if I can get my shit together.

Then we're moving in August to another city, starting school, getting married in September.. Part III may have to wait for winter.
