Just wondering what everyone's favorite is at the moment? For me, I really like IV. Cecil, Kain and Rosa were all very interesting, Cecil and Golbez being brothers was both surprising and interesting and over all i really really liked the game. This is for the numerical ones of course.

1. IV
2. IX
3. VII
4. VI
5. V

2. FFII
3. FFXII
4. FFIII
5. FFIV

Never played V, VIII, or XI.  I got fed up with VI at least 75% of the way through.  I never did get to play the very beginning or very end of IX, and I wasn't that great with the skill system it had, but I suspect I would like it better now that I've fought with FFTA and FFTA2's skill learning system.  I look forward to it being released on the PSN in the US.

From the ones I've played AND beaten.

1. IX (this one is just too perfect. needs hard mode though; and no, restricting yourself is a shit).
2. VII
3. T
4. X
5. V
6. XII
7. VIII
8. IV
9. I
10. Dirge of Cerberus
11. Crystal Chronicles (worst FF ever IMO)

II played a couple of hours and didn't like it.
III was emulating it and accidentally erased the folder (I was quite far, near the ending). It's great though.
VI played it up to the final dungeon, with all party members back like 3 times. Never finished it. I won't lvl up 3 teams, grinding sucks in any game.
TA played it 2 times until around half through the story and got bored.

You only need enough for two teams, IIRC... I think there was a way to get one person by him/her/itself and avoid all encounters.  It's been a while since I read anything about that though.

It's nice to see IX getting a little love. ^_^ I personally loved that game, but it had to go to third because I've never beaten it. -_- School is a bitch sometimes...

P.S. Sorry for the double-post, I just couldn't help myself.

I want a remake of VII that fixes the translation errors and the glitches and then has the incomplete materia and other features finished and added in.  Oh, and more stipulations on the use of KoTR and some harder superbosses.  A full set of WEAPONs (that aren't pansies) to fight would be nice.

Just remove the broken materia (Mime, KOTR, Final attack) and make enemies stronger...some ps3 improved graphic and the game is ready

how do you beat emerald weapon without final attack? (and KoTR) Since i didn't use any guide to beat those weapons, i don't know if there're any other way to defeat emerald without final attack...

Ruby.. i think still possible.
