While this is very late coming, i thought i should probably introduce myself.

I'm Elric42, I found this site back in 2009, tho i did not register until earlier last year, which was actually only to
thank Kokojo for making CoP.

After looking thru the forums and custom sprites and then reading everything in the "Why your project won't be completed" thread
I decided with all my free time, making a mod was definitely something i wanted to do. 2 weeks and 5 events later, Jot5 was born

My general hobbies include, Video Games (duh.) Watching low-budget horror flicks, Mountain Climbing, Hiking, Dirt biking, getting tattooed and doing Piercings.

I'm a licensed piercer which is cool i suppose, but most of my money comes from Fixing and reselling xboxs and other electronics.
I worked at Citibank for 3 years after which i worked for IBM for a while, but after getting fired for BS reasons i decided to go back to what
I was good at, PC and electronic repair. Thru this i make enough money to support myself as well as have a ton of freetime for Jot5.

I have 3 children, Ages 6, 5 and 2. Tho that situation is a bit touchy and I don't choose to talk about it very often

All in all, I'm very glad to be here and I love this community. I look forward to being here for a long long time

It was normally when switching jobs but it did also happen at times during loading screens

hmm thats a good question, I only say it doesn't becuase that's what i've heard

I just know that on a console i was able to play it for maybe 10 minutes at a time before it would freeze

Thats becuase FFT+ will only work on ePSXe IIRC

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that last night i finished 2 more events for Chapter 1 so we are getting ever closer to releasing the first chapter,
I would also like to apologize about the lack of a "Proper" demo, as the one we did have a while back wasn't very widely released. And it would be simply wrong to release it now
due to the fact that there have been more then a couple changes to better the story and plot. But i won't give anything away.

All in all we would just like to thank you for your patience and let you know that the wait will be well worth it.

All of this requires event editing and its something you will need to learn how to do,
Download EasyVent Super Perfect 1.91  and look around in it, I also have a changemap tutorial in the tutorials
section regarding events that may help you as well. 

And as Eternal said, no one is trying to Discourage you, but as someone that has been working on Mods for a bit now,
I can say it just seems like you might be thinking this is alot easier then it actually is.

If you need advice with events come onto IRC and i will try to help as best as i can

Nobody's trying to discourage you, we just need to know more information about it. Thats the thing tho, no one with "great skill and potential" will join a patch unless they see some huge progress first, i suggest you learn how to event edit as well as mess with the worldmap,
once you have these down and are fluent in working with them, you will have a much bigger chance of finding some help.

New Projects belong in New Project Ideas, and Sprite Requests belong in the Offical Sprite Request Thread, tho be warned requests are rarely fulfilled, so you may have to make some of these yourself.

You would be better off starting your mod first with placeholders, just to make sure your going to be able to handle all that making a mod actually takes

Durbs try this, I just tried to download PPF-O-Matic from the main page of FFT and its not working for me either, its stopping halfway thru the download which NEVER happens to me

However the version i have included for you here is the one i use (which i downloaded froim the main page long ago and never had a problem with)
not sure whats wrong with the download of it on the main page, but this one should work without issue

He didn't make the sprite and it's not NEW. This is one of the japanese sprites from along time ago,
but if he is trying to fix it that would be awesome

There is a whole pack of these kind of sprites somewhere in the very old pages of the spriting section.
I can upload the rest of them if anyone wants to work on them?

Perhaps you have an anti-virus or something similar that is blocking the program??
