FFT: Arena Text Edits

As of now, we're thinking of cleaning up the text edits so you can see what everything does in game. For abilities, FFM needs help on the text edits, so we need others to do it in this format.

Formula of ability {New Page}
Range, Area, Vertical, MP, CT, Reflectable {New Page}
Effects, everything else, etc.

We are doing items first.
I'll post the item format when I get home tonight.

EDIT: I also need ideas on what to write for job descriptions.

EDIT2: Here is the format for Helmets/Armors/Hats/Robes/Clothes/Ribbons

HP, MP, P-EV, M-EV, PA, MA, Speed, Move(in that order!)
Status effects(Always, Initial, Immune)
Elemental effects(Absorb, Null, Half, Weak, Strengthen)
Can be Equipped by

If they don't appear, skip to the next bit

If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. I am right now doing all the robes, so if you wish to help, any of the other armors are free for the taking. Don't post a .fftext here, just post the edit like I did above (you don't have to include the screenshots) and I can easily add them in.

All good, except for 1 thing. The class is Paladin now, not Knight. I've editted your post to fix it up so we have more good examples.

I should have mentioned it earlier.

The order is the order the job appears on the job wheel. The only changes would be Scholar (Sc) will be where Chemist used to be, Paladin (Pa) where Knight used to be, and Chemist (Ch) where Calculator/Sage used to be.

The Can be equipped by line is too long, so it'll either have to be cut with a {Newline} somewhere or do something like "All Classes but Pa Ln Sm" but I wanted to post them here so you can make a decision on how you would prefer them to be formatted so I can change them.

Well, there are some Items which have names that don't suit them at all. Can't think of any right now, but I think that we should give the Items appropriate names and icons.

This is all I would change. I don't really see the point in changing, say, Diamond Armor to Peacekeeper Mail just because it cancels Berserk, especially when these items are still subject to change, but I can see why anyone would prefer more descriptive names or no change at all. It's just what I came up with.

The Damned

I agree with pokeytax about the "knife" issue. It suggested names would also be consistent with wanting all the Ninjutsu (and Draw Out) skills to be Japanese; speaking of which, you should probably just change Bizen Boat and Heaven's Cloud to their PSP equivalents of Osafune and...whatever Heaven's Cloud is (Ame-no-something I can't recall right now).

In the same vein, Ninja Knife should probably get renamed "Neko-Te" or "Neko-ken", similar to pokeytax's suggestions.

That said, outside of his suggested changes to axes and shields, I can't say I really agree with wanting to switch the names around for things unless there's a good reason I'm not seeing. (Also, Masamune is already used for another sword, we can't use that for Kiyomori, unless he was suggesting switching that one as well.)
