They look really great. The other ones were massive, these definitely seem to fit well, but I guess it all comes down to the in game. I hope for the best!

Upon LD's request I'm posting some Sprites that replace the Dancer's cloth weapons with a playing card.

Edit: Try this one instead. It fits the allotted area better.

Edit 2: Seems the shading doesn't work that great with the animation style. Here's another...

Edit 3: This should be the final one! Please report any problems! ^_^

Edit 4: One last edit for palette continuity.

Alright, I'm posting this here just so people browsing will be able to find it with more ease. This sheet includes Vanya's cards, Smash's claws, the Bec de Corbins, and a few other items edited out.

I was bored, so I tried to do Longinus spear from Disgaea1, is it good? It is my first attempt at doing such things.

It looks nice, but the question is whether it would fit or not.

Oh yes, Mav, I've come across a very odd problem... all of the new weapon type works, Except the Corbin De Bec, Corbin De Bec seems to only make glitched images appear, but everything else works fine, do you have any idea what might be causing that?

Hmm...maybe I need to edit it in GraphicsGale, to make sure it still confines to the other palettes or something. I haven't really worked with the weapon bitmap extensively though, so I'm likely wrong. But that doesn't explain why the others seem to work...It's using 9 colors, and looks like it's positioned right...I dunno, I'll have to see.

Would it be possible to post a couple screen shots?

That spear looks nice, Kage.
Kindly upload the images to other image hosting sites. I can't view imageshack. Thanks.

Oh don't worry about that Voldemort, I combined the two sheets a long time ago, aside from the Bec De Corbin's everything looks great.

Could you post the current sheet you're working with?
It might help to figure out what the problem is.

Yeah, I doubt I could figure it out, so maybe Vanya is the man to go to.

Sorry for the wait, yes this is the one that's mostly accurate (only thing missing and needs to be added is the Rapier weapon type that Saigas had made)

And the rifles I said I would make.
Just looking at it, I can't see why it would glitch.
Upon closer inspection it still seems fine.
I'll have to insert it and see what's up.
Could you take some screen shots of the glitched graphics please, LD?

BTW, what is that under the bec de corbin, a whip?

I think those are whips...by the way, do the whips work properly? Would the Becs glitch if they're too big or something?

Oddly enough my poor Whips (which I've made myself, and definitely would like redone) don't cause any problems. I'll take a few pictures though.

This is from the Bec De Corbin weapon type

Very strange...Perhaps this one will work: I edited the size and placement of all the Becs, but I don't know whether that would have done anything. I just hope it doesn't fuck up things worse...Keep the other image close by. But like I said earlier, I haven't really worked with this particular image much...maybe Vanya will have an answer.

LD, those look like arrow graphics are showing up in the attack instead of the intended ones.
Very strange.
Did you edit any values for weapon graphics?

Edit:
OK, aside from the fact that the bec de corbin graphics themselves need to be adjusted a bit and one frame is missing the blade & spike it worked just fine on my end.

BTW, LD, I think that the claws can be added in without sacrificing any sword graphics. You see, the knife graphics actually have a 5th slot where the ball and shuriken are located. I'm pretty sure that the ball and shuriken from the WEP1 file are never used either.

Also, I'll see what I can do about the whip graphics.

Which image did you use? The one I posted previously? If you can let me know where and how they need to be adjusted, I think I can get that taken care of.

By the way, see how each weapon has two or three "versions" (i.e. different looking graphics that are similar in size), should we also try to give one of the claws a different look than the other?
