What about those two options? as far as I know they always slowed me down but EVERY time I watch a FFT video, it's on. Wtf am I the only one who gets sick seeing that?

Display Message = Message that pops up to confirm if you really want to do that or to tell you how to play the game.

Anything is possible as long as it is within the hardware's limits. (ie. disc space, RAM, Video RAM, processor, etc.)
<R999> My target market is not FFT mod players
<Raijinili> remember that? it was awful

I always had JP/Exp gain turned off, but not until recently did I turn off messages. Neither contribute any useful information...
I changed jobs and that has made all the difference.

I hear you there, Zodiac. I always turn EVERYTHING off, except for Ability Name (for the quotes, of course). But I always see videos that have everything on and it just astounds me. The option that makes you confirm every move and explains how to face in a Wait drives me absolutely insane.

I always play on 200 FPS, that helps me knowing what actually was used.

And your reason for Exp/JP gain, because it displays fast?

Yea, it displays fast enoght for not being noticed (fast as in 5x faster, I clocked it once).
