Durbs is correct. For anyone following this for a while I also apologize for the delays but just know we are still doing work to make it as perfect as possible, I understand that this has caused alot of delay from the original ETA, but when you finally get to play it, you will understand why. Everything that is being fixed is for the better.

And thank you for your interest. Keep checking back, we will have more info soon.

I see your issue. In the attack.out setup for 000. You have "After Event Do: 01" It should be 00. I've no idea what 01 does,
but it should fix your problem since everything else looks fine to me.

Very sorry CONMAN, I didnt notice your post until now :(

there has to be an issue with your attack.out. You must make sure you are importing the right one. Now, if you did follow my tutorial
you must when placing the 2nd and 3rd units, make sure to also check the "Always present" box.

Is the FFTPatcher correctly saving? (saying it was successful and all that?)
If so,

Can you post screenshots of your attack.out setup for me please?

Also if it's not to much trouble, can you paste.bin me your event?

At the very least you need to make sure you are loading from a savegame. Save state will not work for this.

If this doesn't solve it can you make a screenshot of your ENTD in Murond Temple?
Despite the fact that the ENTD names were fixed, some that were previously correct in FFTP are now not depending on what version you are using. (and vice versa between the versions)
The only sure-fire way to find the correct ENTD is to find which event the ENTD is linked to in the Attack.out GUI

It does show him running around both Gregminster and Rockland, as well as a few battles, in all of which he is Odessa.

MasterGrand, I wanted to ask you before, did you actually replace Tir McDohl with Odessa? Or is it a Odessa sprite over the Tir McDohl sprite?

Correct, there are no EVTCHR's for Samurai, Ninja or Mime. Honestly most EVTCHR for generic units are for Knights

It depends what is replaced, there is only a handful of events that even HAVE EVTCHR for Generic Unit's. Most are for Special/Main characters. So honestly it really doesn't kill
ALL the cutscenes unless he replaces all the main chars as well, and judging by the name of this thread that doesn't seem to be the case. But yes. It should be easy enough to fix.

The problem is, i dunno how i would explain it any easier. In my tutorial, there are 2 videos which show you step by step and the guide itself is also step by step.

Text offset is where your text is writte to, we remove this so that you can change text and how many there is and things like that, remove it and when you compile it will write the correct offset for you in the TEST.evt

So instead of looking at the locked topic, why not look at the very first thread in the tutorials section, I wrote it, so i know it isn't locked..
I explain all the questions you ask in section 1 of my tutorial.

Also, this question belongs in help, not tutorials.
